Your recent editing history at Dentist shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Wikipedia are full of editors who have no idea on some specific subject. Please increase your knowledge and check your facts before reverting the change. You are not from medical background please cross check with someone who has some understanding regarding this subject. Hemiplegiaxx (talk) 16:02, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

According to Royal College of Surgeons Dentist are regarded as Dental surgeon and not merely medical professionals. Dental surgeons are not auxiliary specialist but are primary specialist of the maxillofacial skeleton. Please research on what a dentist or dental surgeon do. Stop disrespecting a profession if you don't understand how medical field function. Hemiplegiaxx (talk) 16:07, 12 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Synoman Barris. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Cysts of the jaws—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Megan B.... Do I understand correctly that you are telling Graham87 that if Wikipedia doesn't do what you want, you and and the rest of the "dental community" will take off-wiki action against Wikipedia? ("radical action against this site", you said.) If so, then I'll have to block you for making legal threats (or, if you mean something off-wiki besides legal action, then harassment. If not, please clarify what you meant, here, before editing any more content. You have a right to take whatever legal action you think right, but you cannot edit Wikipedia if you choose to go that route. --Floquenbeam (talk) 17:41, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is a platform used worldwide. Everyone thinks Wikipedia to be authentic and most of us had no doubt about credibility of information provided by the admin or editor of Wikipedia. But despite giving reason behind my editing Graham87 repeatedly reverted my changes without discussing it. I just want you guys to research on a matter before publishing your views or you guys should take help of experts regarding each sepcific topic you edit. Disrespecting a profession is totally unjust. I request the admins to publish authentic information and not just your personal views. Hemiplegiaxx (talk) 18:54, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
You didn't answer the question. --Floquenbeam (talk) 19:42, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Answer this question before making more article edits or you will be blocked. I bent over backwards to avoid blocking you for making a legal threat, when almost everyone would have blocked you, as a gesture of good faith. You cannot simply ignore the question and continue on. --Floquenbeam (talk)

Dentistry/medicine

edit

Hi - I see that you have made a number of changes to various pages, in an apparent attempt to separate dentistry from medicine. I see from the notices above that you were doing something similar earlier this year. (I also note that you have not yet responded to Floquenbeam's question in the section directly above this one.) You refer to the Royal College of Surgeons as supporting your position; can I ask you to consider that Wikipedia is a global project, and that professional bodies in different parts of the world may take different positions on this question? What you ought to do is propose changes on the talk pages of the articles in question, or perhaps start a discussion over at Wikiproject Medicine. I'll add that the reason I picked up on your edits in the first place is because you were rendering sentences ungrammatical with your changes - you cannot simply remove words you don't agree with and expect the sentence still to hang together afterwards. Please stop doing that. Girth Summit (blether) 11:10, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

GS, thanks for the ping. I didn't realize they had returned to editing. --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:12, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for two reasons, as noted below.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Floquenbeam (talk) 15:08, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

First, after I notified you 3 times, you have still not retracted or explained the possible legal threat from January. Second, you can't just wait half a year and then go back to doing exactly the same controversial edits you were doing before. If you can convince a reviewing admin that you can adjust your approach, they'll probably unblock you. If you aren't going to change your approach, we will be better off without you. --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:12, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Don't spread misinformation. Please visit British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon website. Its a specialty of dentistry not medicine. Hemiplegiaxx (talk) 16:45, 26 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
