Kostopoulos Software

Hello, I tried to provide some info about Kostopoulos Software but they were deleted due to adverisement reasons, as written to me by your system. Why providing info is advertising? If so, you have to delete all articles about companies, e.g. Microsoft, SCS Software? Why have them and delete only my pages? Please take it into consideration — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.87.157.200 (talk) 10:38, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi there, thank you for you message. This edit, which also includes a URL to a website, looks to me as an attempt to advertise. Please see WP:ADV for more info. Regards, Hallows AG (talk) 10:43, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Thanks. will work on more to improve the article. Loved the cookies. :) have a question

I am trying to de-orphan the article and not sure how to do it. I have lots of internal links. I read the section on how to de-orphan, but can't figure out what to put in. I tried "m:" but that did not link. Any suggestions. Maybe you can do some for me and then I can see what you have done and do the rest. Thanks. BrianOrr2020 (talk) 06:20, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi there! The way to de-orphan an article is to introduce links to it to other articles. For example, if I add a link of Kenneth Megill here, I'm putting linking my talk page to that article. You could put links of your article into relevant articles, and once you've done that, you could remove the orphan tag. It's the {{Orphan|date=August 2014}} at the top of the editing page of the article. Hope this helps :) Hallows AG (talk) 07:00, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

I must be dense. I have lots of links in the article and they are all with ... and they show up as blue in the text. Am I missing something? — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrianOrr2020 (talkcontribs) 08:36, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi again! I meant links from other articles to the Kenneth Megill article :) You can add a link to Kenneth Megillto any article that is relevant to him.. that way it wouldn't be an orphan anymore.. Hope this clarifies. If there's anything just leave me another message! Oh and adding brackets to something (e.g [[WP:Be bold]]) would result it to linking to the corresponding Wikipedia page (e.g. WP:Be bold) Sorry if it's a bit confusing Hallows AG (talk) 08:46, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

back again -- got the orphan thing done -- and edited a few other articles on the way. Most of the cites that are links are only that -- will go through each and see if I can get something better. I know the problem -- the links won't work long. Another issue -- my e-mail address did not get confirmed -- it asks me to get a new one, but I want to use the one that is there. Any advice on how to get it confirmed? I click on confirm link but got no notice after about 10-15 minutes. I went back to the old e-mail that asked me to confirm and it said it had expired. I think I would like to become active in the community -- this is interesting an I think I can add some things. I will use you as my mentor if that is o.k. with you....you seem like a patient guy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrianOrr2020 (talkcontribs) 16:34, 31 August 2014 (UTC) BrianOrr2020 (talk) 04:20, 1 September 2014 (UTC)well -- I got my e-mail confirmed....so I think everything is set up. I still have one question out there for you -- is there a way to delete the drafts that were made? When I started I included materials I should not have -- and would like to delete them and start with the version you put up. Can I delete the early drafts? thanks.
