Peer Draft Review - Tatum DeMarco

edit

Hey Hailey,

I have been assigned to review your draft and its lead section, structure, coverage, neutrality, and sources.

Starting off with your lead section, there is not a very clear indication of where or what it is. From your titles, I am assuming that you have decided to cover A.I., but there is a lack of development to explain this.

Going into your structure, there is clarity of the various topics you plan to cover, as you have sectioned them off and created little sub-sections as well.

As for your coverage, you have not yet developed the topic with further information or insight, so critiquing the balance of it all is difficult. Just be sure, when developing, to maintain and not favor one topic over another.

I believe the topic you have chosen can be tricky in relation to neutrality. Artificial Intelligence is somewhat of a controversial topic (I'll tell you right now I am definitely fearful of it), so I would just be aware of that when developing. In order to avoid this or maybe even confront it, maybe cover both sides of it, addressing both the negatives and positives of its presence, just be sure your don't favor the balance of one over the other.

Lastly, your draft does provide a minimal amount of sources, so be sure to expand further on that in the future. I would also suggest focusing on credible sources, such as .edu and .gov sources, since this is a tricky topic.

All in all, you're off to a good a start with the topic choice and organization, it just requires further development and expansion!
