A proposal to resolve the conflict about 'Creation Myth' title

edit

I have posted an argument for changing the title of the Creation article. I invite you to re-inspect the talk page on the article.

Hi Grant, just noted your valued involvment regarding the title of the article reached via searches on "Creation story".
I'm also interested in the points that you may have made in May and whether they have been wiped from the article talk page.

I am also interested in regard to positive routes forward related to the following facebook pages that I've set up:
The right to hold a belief that isn't systematically disregarded as a myth
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=188346055947
I have a belief that is classified as a myth AND approve of this classification
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=194661040529
I don't believe in stories of supernatural creation AND view them as myths
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=169605990043

I am planning to link the pages to each other and publicise them through various discussion pages on the net. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gregkaye (talkcontribs) 08:21, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I noticed you undid my "references" to commercial suppliers. There was a reason for mentioning them, please check the talk page about this, more to be found on the talk page of User pdThor. Greetings,--Satrughna (talk) 22:09, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is now the second time that I've had to revert your edit to Blu-Tack that removed the links to the official Blu-Tack websites. You need to read and understand our policy on official links. — Hex (❝?!❞) 10:56, 11 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Needed Consensus on the Genesis creation myth page

edit

Being a latecomer to the article, I'm unclear exactly who is committed to the article and what they are committed to. I've heard a good deal from those in favor of the "myth" title, but not so much from those opposed. Eactly WHAT would be needed for a consensus title before you would be comfortable making improvements to the article? Please let me know on my talk page. Mediation Case

edit

A request for formal mediation of the dispute concerning Genesis Creation Myth has been filed with the Mediation Committee (MedCom). You have been named as a party in this request. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Genesis Creation Myth and then indicate in the "Party agreement" section whether you would agree to participate in the mediation or not.

Mediation is a process where a group of editors in disagreement over matters of article content are guided through discussing the issues of the dispute (and towards developing a resolution) by an uninvolved editor experienced with handling disputes (the mediator). The process is voluntary and is designed for parties who disagree in good faith and who share a common desire to resolve their differences. Further information on the MedCom is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee; the policy the Committee will work by whilst handling your dispute is at Wikipedia:Mediation Committee/Policy; further information on Wikipedia's policy on resolving disagreements is at Wikipedia:Resolving disputes.

If you would be willing to participate in the mediation of this dispute but wish for its scope to be adjusted then you may propose on the case talk page amendments or additions to the list of issues to be mediated. Any queries or concerns that you have may be directed to an active mediator of the Committee or by e-mailing the MedCom's private mailing list (click here for details).

Please indicate on the case page your agreement to participate in the mediation within seven days of the request's submission.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Christian right, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Lerner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
