Hey!
editHi Georgenicholas3070, Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your edits on the Dame Zara Bate article and the references you added. I just thought I should give my congratulations to you for having one of the rarest books in Australia. I personally have the 5th book published of Zara Holt an autobiography: My life and Harry autographed by Zara herself in December of 68'. I believe Zara and Sir Robert Menzies (their families respectfully) have the 1st and 2nd copies. Other than to congratulate you for having a copy, as I said, mine is autographed but the signiature has a smudge over the 'T' in Holt. Is by any chance yours autographed? If so would you mind scanning it and uploading it to Wiki, and we can hopefully work something out in expanding this article! Cheers Wikistar (Place order here) 06:01, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your comment on my addition. My copy is a hardback but it is not in good condition. I bought it for two dollars from a book fair. It is not autographed. My apologies for that, and I'm sorry to disappoint. I think a scan of yours would be better than nothing.
Another bit of information you may find fascinating. According to Lawrence Money who wrote the Spy column in the Sunday Age some years ago mentioned that an American woman named Diane Anderson had been expelled for heresy from the Melbourne Unitarian Church, but as an aside he mentioned that Sam Holt, Harold Holt's stepson, had been married in that Church. Fascinating stuff. I agree that the article on Dame Zara needs expanding, and I'm happy to help but I can't commit a lot of time to this. My Username is Unfairly Blocked
editMy username is blocked and I am unfairly banned from editing, and this blockage is supposed to be indefinite. It seems I am alleged to be a sockpuppet of a user named Carola.
I use a network a lot of the time with other users, and it seems some of them, Carola being one of them, have been doing something that is contrary to Wikipedia rules, that is sockpuppetting.
I am not the subject of any complaint. I read the complaint and followed the links. They seem to be about Carola and Baghdadjennifer. I rarely edit on the subjects mentioned in the complaint. I have totally different interests. Labour politics is not one of my interests. A look at my edits should show I have contributed much and have been a responsible editor. I do not like being blamed for something done by other users.
I have never had a dispute with anyone. All the comments I have received have been complimentary. I have never been told I am in breach of any Wikipedia policy.
I am being blamed for the alleged bad works of other people.
What can I do to have the blockage overturned?
