Important policy points
edit- Wikipedia:Verifiability: content requires reliable sources.
- Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources
Because a translation may be under copyright, it probably should not be added. The full verse does little to inform readers about the bird, the subject of the article, Northern mockingbird. "Bird of 400 voices" (cenzontle) would be informative. but I am yet to nail down a source. BiologicalMe (talk) 15:16, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
- Your own translation solves the issue for the English version, but possibly not the Spanish translation. I'm working on finding a good source, and trying to find material to support more Precolumbian significance than, just the 100 peso note.[1][2] It's subtle, but the approach means the difference between a random fact, and cultural significance. As a side note, new threads go at the bottom of talk pages. Don't let the details get in the way of the primary goal, good content, but try to pick them up as you go.
