Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Talk:Barack Obama, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. It is very constructive. I did not say Obama was a Muslim. I said that this issue is so prevalent that it is now part of his cultural image, that there is a controversy of him being Muslim, which he is not.

Don't reopen the closed discussion on the turban. That's not going to be discussed. It's nonsense. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 23:23, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
It is a reasonable discussion on how to improve the section.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --John (talk) 23:27, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am not edit warring. People are removing my comments. I thought this was not permitted but if you say it is, let me know so I can remove comments that I think are unproductive.
Note, I dispute the fact that Obama is Muslim. He is not. However, it is such a big issue, a larger issue than the current hurricane in North Carolina. It is sad that this is true but it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by France is the greatest (talkcontribs) 23:31, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
You are edit-warring. Please stop it. --John (talk) 23:47, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Talk:Barack Obama, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 23:34, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are removing my sensible comments so it is you who are vandalizing.

  • Past final warning - I am in process of preparing a report on your recent edit warring. Your account will likely be blocked, possibly indefinitely, because you have now violated WP:3RR after a warning. If you wish to avoid this, please revert your latest edit to the Obama talk page, and/or indicate here that you will not perform any further revisions today. Thanks, - Wikidemon (talk) 23:39, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I will not perform any further revisions today. You win. I must say that you are quite rude. Oh, you better not "indefinite" block or you will be shutting down the entire library system of this major metropolitan city.

On that assurance I will refrain from filing my report. If you are a new user, please familiarize yourself with the various editing policies and guidelines around here. Particularly pertinent to this are WP:TALK, WP:SOAP, WP:EW, WP:CIVIL, WP:NPA, WP:TEND, WP:CONSENSUS, and WP:AGF. This is not the place for antagonizing people when you don't get your way, it is a collaborative exercise in maintaining an encyclopedia. - Wikidemon (talk) 23:46, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
You need to learn how to deal with others. You and some others were very nasty. I am on the same page as you in insisting that he is not a Muslim. However, we disagree in that I think the issue is there (and is such a silly thing) but some seem to want to pretend it is not an issue. It is far more important than some of the trivia in the article. Please, don't be so mean to people. If you agree to work on it, we can be friends.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:54, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
