Recent edit to Contemporary art

edit

Hello. Thank you for your recent edit to Contemporary art. Your edit included one or more links to the page Punk, which is a disambiguation page. This type of page is intended to direct users to more specific topics. Ordinarily we try to avoid creating links to disambiguation pages, since it is preferable to link directly to the specific topic relevant to the context. You can help Wikipedia by revising the links you added to Contemporary art to refer directly to the most relevant topic. Re: Contemporary Art

edit

Hey - I was really glad to see someone else editing the contemporary art page. It really needs work! I am not an experienced wiki editor, but I sat down and tried to give the article structure and flesh out some parts last week. I don't know too much about how wikipedia works - how do I get people more interested in editing this article? Flange P. Vibrator 23:17, 5 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I don't normally edit the page, but as it was in [[Category: Articles to be merged since January 2006|this backlog]] I decided to, however I'm going to be editing it more in the future.
I don't think there's much you can do to get more people interested in editing the article, however there may be some Wikiprojects that it can fit into, and therefore more people will edit the article. If I were you I'd have a look there for a Wikiproject that the article can suit- perhaps this one? That would probably be the best way to start to have the page become a more popular article. Have a look at the Wikiprojects main page, and if there is not a project that contemporary art fits into, perhaps this page may help you. I'll also give you a belated welcome while I'm here...
