Nomination of Geoffrey Farmer for deletion
editA discussion has begun about whether the article Geoffrey Farmer, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Geoffrey Farmer until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — Timneu22 · talk 20:16, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
I'll be working on improving the article in the next few hours. There should be no chance of the article being deleted as there are plenty of sources available and Farmer easily passes WP:ARTIST and WP:BIO. I've been on Wikipedia for a few years and have done a lot of work on Canadian artist articles. You did a good job overall, it just needs some cleaning up and some more sources added to the article. The deletion process lasts seven days and I believe it is safe from deletion as it stands but definitely once it's edited notability will be pretty obvious. Cheers. freshacconci talktalk 23:52, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
