Speedy deletion nomination of Rocketal

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rocketal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. TrulyBlue (talk) 18:13, 24 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Rocketal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies.  -- WikHead (talk) 23:43, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question about an article.

edit

Is it okay to copy and paste from Wiki software the html that I made to be an article? Cause I saw that better not to copy and paste information from other sides, but copy and paste html article I made in wiki software is okay? I'm trying to write an article very carefully this time, and not to get deleted.

(Please read all.)Who'd you think I am huh?! Bill Gate?! I need to give you luggage of cash so you will let go?! I'm just a normal person from a excellent band! Your rules written no businesses with an article/wikipedia. Or you think "Rocketal"is a scam name?! then fck you, this is my real band. You said that in rules and I success one was "release single/album in stores" something like that. Just wtf you want?! this is my band and I described my band in this article VERY VERY carefully this time, I have not copy ANY texts from other pages, all the html I have written by MYSELF! It toke me whole day dude. I have source given in this article, what'd you think want a fcking pro domain website with flash and write "I love wikipedia!!!!!" then you could let go this article?! Fck Wikipedia, I hate you! If you think my band is a sh!t then go fck yourself this is my METALCORE band not a scam, if you don't believe then let me make a song called "Wikipedia Sucks!" Yes, I could. Last but not least, if you think I had some mistakes in this article then I don't mind you to change it, last thing, this band is MINE all copyrights are MINE I made everything by MYSELF to make this ARTICLE. There are no scams or boast in this article, it's about my band "Rocketal" that's it! So simple, I have not write anything good about my band, just don't want to break any rules!! So now you think my band sucks?! YOU TOLD ME NOT TO WRITE ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT MY BAND. Wikipedia sucks than my band.

I took a look at your latest effort to make an article of your band. Apparently, it has not met any of the criteria for notability for bands: the band has not made a charting album/single, they have not seem to receive enough coverage by news sources, they did not receive any form of recognition. They don't seem to be signed to a major label. The main reasons why we have guidelines to prove the notability of music artists/bands is because people from around the Internet try to use Wikipedia as a form of promotion of their own bands. I'm sure you take pride in your own work and people get pissed off so many times when we delete their band's article but we do not like having other users use Wikipedia to just promote themselves. Do that somewhere else, please. Thank you. --Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 02:57, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see but I'm not making any promos by using wikipedia, I write an article is for knowledge and not to promo, I apologize for my madness but seriously, I haven't break any rules like writing the article to be shown a excellent band or something, it's all about an ARTICLE. I have saw some band articles their approaches, and those are ARTICLES for sure, so I just write own article very carefully, and it's short and just knowledge or nothing. See I was written those htmls by some wksoft and none of them are copy and pasted, I've been using my hands to type all those htmls and informations to the article toke me half day. So please understood, just depends so I saved the copy to a file before it was saved..
