Proposed deletion of Prakhar Bindal

edit

The article Prakhar Bindal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of passing the notability criteria for biographies. Apart from brief mentions/quotes in 3 articles, the remaining sources are self-published profiles, one of them masquerading as an article in Entrepreneur (magazine). The company of which he is CEO and apparently sole owner is a 2 year old start-up with no significant coverage either.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please maintain a wp:npov when editing and use an encyclopedic wp:tone. I undid your edit as you did not maintain Wikipedia policy. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 08:09, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please, check the article's talk page. I have put what was cited in mainstream media. Edmondhills (talk) 08:10, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Edmondhills You just did WP:FILIBUSTER Removing a large addition for a minor error. I am reverting. Do editing not blind reverts. Jyoti (talk) 08:15, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Where does the citation state "hate crime" or "derogatory"? These are not wp:npov and are or appear to be wp:or, wp:weasel and wp:synth. This is an encyclopedia, not a place to add your opinion. Jim1138 (talk) 08:18, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Here[1] for the "hate crime" and I didn't add "derogatory". It was added by another editor. I didn't add my opinion but I reverted you as you removed some references. Please, check the diffs. Edmondhills (talk) 08:21, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I will make one more attempt. WP:TONE is a good read. Verifiability does not guarantee inclusion. WP:NOTNEWS might also help. Jyoti (talk) 08:34, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Whatever I included maintain NPOV from sources which are widely published in mainstream media so WP:NOTNEWS doesn't apply for this incident similarly I do not see a valid reason of Verifiability does not guarantee inclusion. You can state your objections for improvement of the article on the talk page. Edmondhills (talk) 08:42, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for creating Pune techie murder case, Edmondhills!

Wikipedia editor Jyoti.mickey just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

I think it has its space on wikipedia. Presently this article reads like a news release, and is slanted towards recent events. If continued coverage does not happen it might be better to merge it with a more notable article.
