DJ Patil date of birth

What is your source for DJ Patil's date of birth (May 17, 1979)? Vaqab (talk) 01:28, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

My source was Crunchbase. But questioning that now that I see bday messages to him on Twitter dated August 3rd (this and this). So at least I'm quite sure the date is wrong, if not the year.
