The article Achal Kumar Srivastava has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. —twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 08:57, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at Achal Kumar Srivastava. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Drachalksrivastava, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a directory website like LinkedIn. Our objective is to provide neutrally written summaries of what reliable third-party sources have published on topics. I removed the proposed deletion from your article and rewrote it based on the faculty page—I was unable to find any other sources—because I believe Dr. Srivastava may be notable, as head of a section of AIIMS. But the article lacks information you had included in it, such as his birthdate, because I cannot find these in published sources and we require information in articles to be verifiable by the reader. One interview as an external link is sufficient; the article needs third-party sources. In any case, whether you are Dr. Srivastava or an associate using a form of his name as your Wikipedia account name, you have a conflict of interest that makes it unlikely you can write neutrally on the topic (neutral presentation is one of our fundamental rules.). For this reason, Wikipedia expects editors with a conflict of interest to declare it (and the Wikimedia Foundation requires those conflict-of-interest editors who are receiving compensation for their edits to disclose the names of their clients); and you should not edit the article directly, but propose changes on its talk page. It would be extremely useful if you could provide links to organizations/professional meetings documenting Dr. Srivastava's awards, and any press coverage where he was written about and not merely quoted as an authority (those were the two kinds of sources I searched for and failed to find). The article very much needs such references or it is in danger of being put up for a deletion discussion. I hope this explanation with links to our policies is helpful. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Achal Kumar Srivastava, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 14:11, 24 November 2021 (UTC)

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Draft:Achal Kumar Srivastava has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
