Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Biddeford High School are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Biddeford High School. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop restoring the comment about the runner-up finish. We only list top-level finishes. Per WP:BRD you should discuss this on the article's talk page rather than restoring it. Meters (talk) 23:34, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I will remove the runner-up clause.
Sorry, I do not understand what is disruptive about this. I am new to editing Wiki.
I have no dispute. I document the 11 state championships. Previously, the article stated 12 championships. Tat 1970 runner-up, Southern Maine championships, may have been inadevertently counted. I know my facts, I was valedictorian of Class of '72 and documenting the history of Biddefore High the last 3 years. Dr. Donald A. Dube (talk) 23:42, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have already removed it, yet again. Did you read WP:BRD? What's disruptive is that you keep restoring it, without discussing the issue. When your edit is challenged it is up to you to open a discussion on the article's talk page and attempt to get consensus for the edit.
I've also removed some of your addition concerning Academic achievements. We don't list individual accomplishments, we write things neutrally, and we don't need to discuss what some other school accomplished. Meters (talk) 23:50, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I saw the sources you added. Thank you. It the future it would be would be preferable to add direct links to each sport's results rather than just one citation to a landing page that requires readers to search around to find the required reference. Also, as far I could see, your citation for the gymnastics [cheer corrected 00:43, 31 August 2024 (UTC) ] results did not support your claim about the coed title. I am attempting to ad the source for the NE cheerleading competition byt it is accusing me of abuse an will not allow me to make changes. I have to wait a few minutes.
This is the first and last time I ever have anything to do with Wikipedia. This is very discouraging. Let me make the last citation and you will never have me to woryy about again. Dr. Donald A. Dube (talk) 00:03, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've removed the YouTube reference. A personal YouTube channel is not a reliable source. We have bots and filters that prevent certain web pages from being added. That's likely what happened. Meters (talk) 00:26, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please don't get discouraged. Wikipedia is a complicated site with many rules. It takes time and practice to know how to do things properly. Meters (talk) 00:30, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
