March 2018
editHello, I'm Meters. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Westmount Charter School have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. What are you doing? We already use the Charter music site as a ref so per WP:ELNO it does not go in the external links section, and since it is already used as a ref for the "Band Program" section there is no point in adding it again. Meters (talk) 19:52, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Westmount Charter School. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Meters (talk) 20:13, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Hello, DeemDeem52, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as FibonacciYYC (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. You state on your user page that you are a friend of User:FibonacciYYC, and you are a WP:SPA on the same school article. You are restoring some of the material that has previously been removed form this article. Meters (talk) 20:21, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Hello Meters; I am sorry I appeared to be promoting the WCS band program. I will refrain from doing so in the future. (I also removed the WCS Rugby external link) No, I am not the same person as User:FibonacciYYC, though we are friends at school. It is true that I am a WP:SPA for Westmount Charter School, but this does not mean that we are the same people. Before continuing editing, I shall read up on Wikipedia's policies on neutrality. DeemDeem52 (talk) 00:23, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
EDIT: As it turns out, User:FibonacciYYC is not who I thought it was. I do not know them.
Hey User:DeemDeem52, I'm the person you thought was User:FibonacciYYC. C5d1 (talk) 04:25, 6 March 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 7
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Food Act 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ministry for Primary Industries. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 7 March 2023 (UTC)
Template docs
editThanks for adding template documentation. I rushed this stuff out and only did the bare bones. However, documentation is good and I thank you. Also apologize, I only intended to undo one line of your changes I disagreed with. I pushed the wrong button and undid them all, but I restored them. Sorry about that. Dave (talk) 17:52, 16 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for creating the template in the first place! I wasn't quite sure how to make the documentation, but I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. Thanks for your edit! DeemDeem52 (talk) 18:28, 16 March 2023 (UTC)

The first responses suggest...
edit...that you were somehow incorrect, but you were not.
Perhaps you were a little naïve in your wording, hesitant. Please have the courage of your convictions and either be correct or incorrect with your head held high.
If you look at my response I may yet be proven incorrect (I never mind that) but the !vote is made with confidence.
I am glad you made the nomination. Thank you for having the courage to do so. There is no other way of draftifying a disputed draftification. May I suggest you make this a "Fire and Forget" nomination. I do that with all that I nominate. I am interested in the result, but not invested in it 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 18:47, 29 May 2024 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 07:50, 30 May 2024 (UTC)A quick note on the AfD and NPP process
editHi DeemDeem52, just wanted to drop in and give a quick note on the process of AfD and NPP, how they interact and some behind-the-scenes details. On the nomination at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Samana Bay Company of Santo Domingo when you withdrew, you mentioned that the article was since reviewed and you felt like you had to withdraw you deletion nomination. In the above case, that was perfectly valid and someone else came by close the discussion, but articles that get nominated at AfD are often reviewed once nominated to clean up the project and let the next steps of the process proceed. That review doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't a candidate for deletion or a bad nomination.
If by review, you meant the removal of the AfC draft templates, that's common to let the page be cleaned up to let others get a look at the page (if the result of the AfD discussion is to draftify or userify, often these templates and comments will be re-added from the page history to preserve its record). If by review, you meant the review and removal of the page from the new page queue at WP:NPP, that is the standard practice for articles marked for deletion, as they no longer need to be reviewed by a NPP member as they are instead being reviewed by a larger group of people at an alternative venue.
In either case, one of those "reviews" does not necessarily mean the nomination or deletion discussion is invalid, so I didn't want you to become discouraged with the processes involved in the project. Cleanup and reviewing is something on the project that is largely almost always backlogged, so any help is appreciated!
