Autopatrolled

Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:

  • This permission does not give you any special status or authority
  • Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
  • You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
  • If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing! Acalamari 18:31, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Mitsubishi Delica

Hi DeLarge. As one of the two original article editors I thought I would bring your attention to the current state of the article. Unfortunately it has devolved into a bit of a mess. One editor Mr.choppers decided to merge in the Mitsubishi L300 commercial vehicle article back in October and since then decided that all mitsubishi vehicles using the name 'Delica' are the same vehicle, as opposed to different vehicles incorporating the same name on some variations, including the commercial pickup's etc. Joined by another editor OSX they now have all Mitsubishi vehicles, and cloned look-a-likes using the L300 & L400 body design as Delica's. IE L300 Express, Colt Solar L300, Versa Van, Mahindra & Mahindra Voyager, Dodge 100, Ford Husky, CMC Motors Starwagon's, Mazda Bongo's, etc etc,. Judging by the article Talk page there is a potential at the moment that the L200 Express will suddenly become a 'Delica' I've attempted to advise and correct things and even suggested splitting the article as seperate 'Mitsubishi L300', 'Mitsubishi L400' and 'Mitsubishi D:5' models, to no avail. That would have allowed the different base vehicles to be correctly written up. but I feel it's a lost battle. Richard Harvey (talk) 22:57, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

The Japanese Wikipedia equivalent (三菱・デリカ) is set out in a similar way because in Japan "Delica" is the sole name. In overseas markets, the Delica has been called different names such as "L300" and "L400", but they are the same as the JDM Delicas. Not sure what the issue is. The "L200 Express" was brought up as a passing mention, and it is a completely different model (like this) and should be covered in the Mitsubishi Triton article. Little Fatty and Qian Zhijun

Hi! I notice you have a draft for "Little Fatty" posted on your userspace.

Well, Qian Zhijun became an actor, so now he is independently notable. Consequently the internet meme now has its own article WhisperToMe (talk) 18:53, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

Four years too late, almost to the day. It should never have been deleted, but became the victim of a hysterical witch-hunt which soured me to Wikipedia, and more significantly chased off one of the site's best contributors. I wonder if (badlydrawn)Jeff knows about this, or even if he cares any more?
Ah well, good to see that common sense can, eventually, take hold. Presumably the braying masses have moved on to other campaigns? And best of luck keeping the page in mainspace; there's a few of the folks responsible for the original deletions who are still around, and who are loathe to change their minds whether they're wrong or not. The arguments for keeping it – that he's independently notable and willing to exploit his infamy – were true back in 2007, and it didn't stop the ridiculous purge back then. --DeLarge (talk) 08:31, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

WP Automobiles in the Signpost

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Automobiles for a Signpost article. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Other editors will also have an opportunity to respond to the interview questions. If you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day. -Mabeenot (talk) 04:06, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Kei car

Hello DeLarge, I know you don't edit much these days, but I would welcome your aid at Kei car. Another editor has decided to include one picture on as many pages as possible, across all Wikipedia projects, and is becoming increasingly uncivilized about it. I would welcome another set of eyes here, should you feel like it. Cheers,  ⊂| Mr.choppers |⊃  (talk) 18:53, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi I'm just a reader and I saw your name alot. I saw something that might be an error. In the section titled - "Evolution VIII" There is a part about FQ400 and here's a portion of it, "and a top speed of 420 mph (676 km/h) while costing £47,000". I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is any chance this thing goes 420 m.p.h. Just wanted to let someone know. I'm Al and my email is lyfsux07@gmail.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.226.117.215 (talk) 20:52, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
