Hello, I'm M.Bitton. I noticed that you recently removed content from Nigel Dodds without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Please see WP:DERRY regarding the name of the city, thank you. FDW777 (talk) 12:15, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Nigel Dodds. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. SuperGoose007 (Honk!) 21:59, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nigel Dodds is not yet a lord, see Talk:Nigel Dodds#Lords. Or if you don't feel like reading that, see the parliament website, It normally takes several weeks from the time a potential new member is announced, by the government or the House of Lords Appointments Commission, before their actual appointment. Before anyone becomes a member, a title has to be agreed and legal documents called Letters Patent and Writ of Summons must be prepared As such, there is no need to update the article any further, thank you. Discretionary sanctions notification

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in the Troubles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

FDW777 (talk) 22:01, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Also the Nigel Dodds article, as well as other Troubles related articles, is under a 1-revert-restriction, meaning no more than 1 revert in a 24 hour period.

Warning

edit

You must stop editing at Nigel Dodds or any article related to him. Instead, discuss the issue at Talk:Nigel Dodds#Lords. This is an administrative warning: You will be blocked if you continue repeating your changes as that is edit warring. Johnuniq (talk) 10:11, 2 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Nigel Dodds, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason.

Again, the city is called Derry see WP:DERRY for guidance. FDW777 (talk) 16:04, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm LizardJr8. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to User:FDW777—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. LizardJr8 (talk) 16:09, 8 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
