Conflict of interest

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Gallifrey One, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. Sign all your talkpage posts, please

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Re: Watchers on the Wall edit summaries

You haven't been here that long, so you may not be aware how collaborative editing works. If another editor suggests that you use the talk page to discuss an edit, you respect the fact that they took the time to ask, and do that. You do not call them pedantic or puerile, as this tends to upset the elusive spirit of good faith in one another, and makes the other editor far less willing to consider your point of view (being more occupied with what an asshat you are making of yourself). You aren't going to win "battle" of edit summaries, and are far more likely to be reprimanded or blocked for repeatedly reverting back in your preferred changes. Excuse me, but I HAVE been here that long, and I do not appreciate your condescending tone. The other person in question made a change based upon spurious reasons and I changed it back. You have simply decided to be difficult and obviously haven't gone back into the history to take a look, where you'll clearly see that the other person made a silly change and I reverted it. Perhaps you can tell me what was "condescending" in my tone, since I am not seeing it. I did not call you any name, or treat you like a child. You were the one who started tossing out insults and edit-warring. I don't consider the change made to be "silly"; it was I undid your removal of it. Lastly, it doesn't matter whether I am objecting to a so-called repair or an original edit.
