Political Compass

So I can create a webpage with no sources and then use that as a source for articles on Wikipedia as well as create an entire article about my made up webpage? (LVAustrian (talk) 04:59, 13 June 2009 (UTC))

First off - apologies for taking so long to reply - I've been away from Wikipedia for a couple of weeks.

To answer your question: yes, if and when your made-up webpage becomes notable you (or preferably someone else with no conflict of interest) can write an article about it (although not using it as the sole source). See e.g. WP:HOAX. The key concept here though is notability. As to the original article in question, I only gave you my own opinion. Like I said, you're welcome to nominate it for deletion and get other editors' opinions. The reason I reverted your changes in the first place was because you did it wrong and to correct it I would have essentially had to re-nominate it myself, which I didn't want to do. It seens self promotion but it´s not. The company have the same mission as wikipedia, that´s to spread the knowledge, not profit. Also there´s no link for the site of the company or anything like that. Thanks!
