Template documentation is not the template

edit

You're only editing the documentation for the template, not the template itself. You don't have permission to edit the actual template but you're welcome to propose an edit in its Talk page. ElKevbo (talk) 20:38, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please listen to waht ElKevbo is explaining to you above and stop modifying the documentation page for the template. Per the clear instructions on the page "This template is used on approximately 20,000 pages, so changes to it will be widely noticed. Please test any changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Please consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them."--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:42, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ponyo & ElKEvbo, I assumed adding new parameters could be added through the JSON on the page however, this truly is for documentation and all parameters must be added through the UI. I have tested changes in sandbox before publishing in them, however there was a prompt specified that I could not see the changes while in edit mode, hence the publishges. I am not familiar with the process of adding new parameters to templates (my appologies) so I will be sure to bring this up on the talk page. Thank you kindly.
