Baarskaagaard

Could you explain why their edits are vandalism? Certainly the one to The Don (song) does not appear to be vandalism although not actually needed either. Looks like a new editor needing advice unless I am missing something? Citizensmith 19:50, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

They've added information to several Calvin Harris articles which is hoax information. They claimed that a song was to be the next single when there is no information available anywhere to confirm this. The picture they added to Traffic Cops was quite clearly colabourated from calvin's other covers and the image added to the don is blurred and un-identifiable. I just thought all of this together meant the user was only intent on adding vandalism and worthless content to wikipedia. Chappy ^T_C 19:59, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Mike Magee (journalist)

You don't seem to understand the quality of the sources needed to support this article. Please read WP:V and WP:RS. In particular, you need a reliable third-party source which verifies that the journalist and the occultist are the same individual. You can't use emails, blogs, or other self-published information. All sources must be published by a reliable third-party publisher. I took out several sources which did not meet WP requirements for a biography of a living person. The Indranushnut (sp?) page is probably not acceptable either but I left it for now. GlassFET 22:30, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Noticing you're having a bit of trouble controlling the old "fair use" bots (See above ^^^), i thought I'd come help you out with the old licencing tags, the first one i'm dealing with is The View EP image, just need you to tell me where you got the image first (ie, website link). There are difficulties in re-creating articles from cut-and-paste; I made that mistake before and got chided about it: someone needs to do a history merge of the source and the target for GFDL purposes, so that the authors whose words are cut are given credit if they are pasted, basically. The Law

It had been listed for speedying by User:Lounds O'Ikes on the grounds of "absolutely no notability". (I would give you the diff but only admins could see it). I didn't see any sources in it to back up notability, so I deleted it. If you would like me to restore it and put it on AfD to settle this issue, I will. Daniel Case (talk) 22:06, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

After reviewing that user's edit history (short and dubious; he seems to have a thing for putting in badly sourced or unsourced negative info about Scottish radio personalities), I have restored the article since I don't think it was a good-faith nom. Regarding the Saving Aimee image edit

I apologise for uploading work which isn't my own, but would like to thank you for going through the trouble of contacting the photographer and receiving the permission for the photo to be uploaded on Wikipedia.

Also I have tried my best adding additional citations for verification. I have made sure that everything on there is reliable and official. Any help on having it verified would be much appreciated. xpedrox (talk) 19:20, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Dundee FA status

It was mentioned in the Dundee talk page that the article no longer met many of the criteria for FA back in 2007. I imagine the requirements have either changed significantly or the article has degraded through subsequent editing. It is therefore up for FA review.
