- I assume that you're here to make substantive contributions, so I want to suggest that you consider requesting a different user name. I want to emphasize that I'm not arguing that you've violated any policy; rather, that the user name you've chosen might undermine your goals. The name you have chosen could give others the impression that yours is a single-purpose account, with the solitary goal to oppose the current version of the Circumcision article. That impression may not help you in building consensus for the changes you propose. Just a suggestion. -- Scray (talk) 17:13, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Very cool! thank you Scray, that was very nice... On the subject of this account name, I dont mind the trouble of people judging the merit of my arguments based on my account name; they would be doing in detriment of their own intellectual advancement :) I myself, would never consider "Avi" or "David" or any Jewish sounding name to be more relevant then the arguments presented, if they were to hold any water beyond doublespeak. I would otherwise do it as an IP, but like to maintain anonymity. On an ironic side note, I the first few times I read you account handle it read "Scary", funny our minds not? !!! ---Circuscision (talk) 17:22, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Understood, but "Avi" or "David" might be actual names (i.e. not chosen by the editor, and might tell nothing about the editor), whereas you chose yours at the time you registered. So, your username will make a strong impression and I really don't think it'll help with building consensus. In any case, I hope you keep an open mind and that others will do the same. -- Scray (talk) 17:59, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed, how do I change? ---Circuscision (talk) 18:01, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Here: WP:RENAME. Hope this helps, -- Scray (talk) 19:54, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

- Since you were blocked as a sockpuppet of someone else, a rename isn't going to help, and no Crat is going to perform one as long as that cloud is hanging over your head. Dennis Brown | 2¢ | WER 11:11, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
