Revert on John Sanchez
The content the user deleted (which you restored) was actually added by that same user minutes before. I'm not sure what s/he is doing, but I'm inclined to let them figure out whatever it is they're attempting to do before intervening. That said, I'm not wild about the addition itself, so I'm keeping a close eye on the whole process. Arbor8 (talk) 17:20, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, but I know it was them because I looked at the history. If a big chunk of content, which is sourced, is removed, I add it back so they can explain why they removed it.--Chip123456 (talk) 17:23, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

- Oh ... I could never do that. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 16:57, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, you are perfect! I've been seeing you a lot in the recent changes recently, doing some good work.--Chip123456 (talk) 16:59, 25 May 2012 (UTC)
- I wouldn't go quite as far as saying that. Would you believe it – it is six times this afternoon, not four – What a ******* clown?

Is there a reason you reverted my edits in that article? Nomad (talk) 15:58, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- No, It was an accident and I have reverted back to your revision. Sorry.--Chip123456 (talk) 15:59, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
You reverted my edits?
This will make you smile. The latest posting on my Talk page with title as in header ... I know I daren't leave a tb ... -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 16:20, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Princess Alexandra
Hi Chip123456! I saw your message. Yes, you are right that her style is HRH Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy but according to here she is called Princess Alexandra. Keivan.fTalk 04:57, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- I think in that case it is showing 'Princess Alexandra' as it is using her title when she was born 'Princess Alexandra was born' Princess Alexabdra, The Hon Lady Ogilvy was born, her present title wouldn't work in that case! Thanks--Chip123456 (talk) 06:12, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- OK! you can see the other sections of her article in the official website of the British monarchy. For example you can see the section of her marriage and family, working day, activities and interests and many others. As you see in all of them she is called Princess Alexandra. Keivan.fTalk 06:41, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- OK! I trust your judgement! --Chip123456 (talk) 14:56, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Editing an old and out date page
Hi Chip, Caroline Lee here from Chamber Made Opera. I have just tried to edit and update our page. We are an organisation, and the new content has been created by me, with reference to our website. Can you please let me know why the page has reverted? We have been through this process before and each time the page reverts. We tried to communicate with you but no-on answered our messages. It is frustrating. Please advise. Thank you, Caroline Miss Caroline Lee (talk) 07:00, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hello Miss Lee, this is the first time I've reverted your good faith edits as it was not all sourced, it needs to be verified as you added a large chunk. Also we need secondary sources. Where are the messages before, sorry nobody has contacted you and I hope this has helped. Of course, if you want to ask any more questions, please do! Cheers --Chip123456 (talk) 15:16, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi Chip, thanks for your help. I have tried again, not adding so much and being much more careful about sources. I hope it now meets the criteria. If it all looks good I will continue, updating the performance history and adding some images if possible. One question...when the company was first established its name was Chamber Made Opera. Then for a time it was changed to Chamber Made (no opera), and now it has changed back to Chamber Made Opera. Is it possible to change the name of the whole article? If so, how do I do this? Thanks again, CarolineMiss Caroline Lee (talk) 07:20, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) Articles are renamed by moving the page. You won't be able to do this yourself until your account is autoconfirmed: this should be soon after 06:18 (UTC) on 1 June 2012, that is, four days after your first edit. --Redrose64 (talk) 10:28, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- another (talk page stalker) However, it is unacceptable to copy/paste text from web sites like these into the article. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:28, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think the user has this page watch listed so it's probably best to comment on their user page for anything you want to tell them.--Chip123456 (talk) 15:30, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
This is not a "Talkback"
This is not a "Talkback", and I know that you are a self-confessed 'Talk page stalker', but just in case you did not read this ... thought p'haps you should! -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 16:47, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

- I aim to please and likewise! --Chip123456 (talk) 17:46, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you. Btw, That section heading was changed by me to the pithy one that you read, and prompted the somewhat curse first reply. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 17:51, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- That's fine! How are you finding the vandalism work? Tools OK? --Chip123456 (talk) 17:53, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- I am enjoying it ... more than I should, because my first love is editing articles, and it is taking me away from that somewhat. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 17:56, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- I know what you mean! I should really start to do some more article edits as well by but I'm paranoid that if I stop I will have the tools taken off of me, daft, I know! I'm also trying to get my CSD log up, which is needed if I'm thinking of applying to be an admin next year!--Chip123456 (talk) 18:00, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
CSD? -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 18:02, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- WP:CSD--Chip123456 (talk) 18:04, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot the deindent, but The Archers were just starting. There, now you know something else about me.
- Why a 'log' though? I don't understand, and what's the relevance to applying for admin? --Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 18:32, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Everything I nominate for speedy deletion, goes in my speedy deletion log, which shows why I nominated it, how and if it was deleted, it's just there for people to look although I'm having some technical difficulties with it! The relevance is that to become an admin, you have to have some experience in this area, although I'm quite crap at it ATM so I'm trying to get better!--Chip123456 (talk) 18:47, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- I understand. Never got involved in trying to delete anything. Sounds as if it could be tricky. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 20:03, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

- Try it, I use twinkle! BTW, how do you report and warn users? --Chip123456 (talk) 20:05, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I do too. It's great. Been using Twinkle since I changed from IE to Firefox on 24 March. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 20:30, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- (in reply to post of 18:00, 3 June 2012) You won't have tools taken away simply for not using them. Once you've got a tool, it's pretty much permanent unless either you misuse it, or voluntarily request that the tool be removed.
- Regarding WP:CSD: whilst the WP:RFA judges will certainly look at your CSD work, they'll focus on your reasoning for each one, not the quantity that you have nominated. But try doing some WP:XFD stuff too: that's your opportunity to really demonstrate that you have good judgement when deciding whether a page should stay or be deleted. --Redrose64 (talk) 20:19, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hello again Redrose, You helped me a few months ago now, regarding what just happened – how to tackle an edit conflict. I thanked you then, and I thank you again today. Cheers! -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 20:30, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- Isn't this a lovely reunion! I'm surprised you haven't bumped into each other on here before! And yes, twinkle is the easiest for you to use! --Chip123456 (talk) 20:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- It was 25 January, Redrose. I have a good memory for dates.
- Chip ... of course Twinkle is excellent for leaving 'Talkbacks' ... ouch! That hurt. -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 20:43, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

- About adminship, the main thing I use tools for is semiprotecting pages, deleting stuff in complicated moves and history merges. I didn't venture much to AfD - gets me too annoyed half the time. Casliber (talk · contribs) 08:55, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- It popped up here an in my ER that I should get more involved in the AFD thing. I've been trying hard and have performed 5 non-admin closures today. --Chip123456 (talk) 14:36, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
