- Allow me to point you to a really good tutorial on citing sources: User:Nick Moyes/Easier Referencing for Beginners
- Once your draft has inline citations, it will be possible to reconsider it for acceptance. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 00:58, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Chamber Music Queen. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:20, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
October 2024
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:21, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Can you please confirm that you have at least read, and ideally understood, our policy on autobiographies? Also, conflict-of-interest (COI) editing, as per the thread above this one? Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:58, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, thank you very much. I am very confident that I am not affected by conflict of interest. Appreciate you help. 73.109.48.146 (talk) 19:12, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- You are writing about yourself, and subjects related to yourself, and you don't think you have a conflict of interest? Really?
- And please remember to log into your account whenever editing. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 19:26, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks again for your reply. To clarify, I've been a professional musician for 40 years and feel confident about my entries. HOpe that makes sense! 73.109.48.146 (talk) 19:41, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Okay... that in no way answers my questions, or resolves the conflict-of-interest problem. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 19:48, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- I went through all my references and deleted the ones I had that were not helpful or the required items.. I choice references that were corrorborative of my bio and career. 73.109.48.146 (talk) 19:53, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- We seem to be talking past each other. Let me try to break this down for you. Firstly, can you confirm that you've read and understood WP:AUTOBIO, which explains why you should not be writing about yourself, as you appear to be doing in Draft:Karen Iglitzin? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 20:00, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if I talked past you. I did thoroughly read and understood WP:AUTOBIO.
- I do appreciate the issues that are comprehensively addressed.
- If you recommend that I withdraw my article, I will do so. Otherwise, perhaps someone else will write one. Just let me know. Best wishes. Karen 73.109.48.146 (talk) 20:08, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you. Yes, we would very much prefer that someone else other than the subject writes about them. The advice is, indeed, to forget about even trying to write an article about yourself, and let others do it, if and when someone decides to do that.
- Now, given that we've established who you are, you have an obvious conflict of interest (COI) in subjects related to you. This means that you should disclose at least a general COI, and quite possibly the more specific paid-editing one, with regard to Draft:Chamber Music Institutes with Karen Iglitzin. You also have a COI with regard to Philadelphia String Quartet, and should not be editing it directly, and instead making edit requests via that article's talk page. Can you please confirm that you've understood both these points? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 20:19, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- I understand both these points. Thanks. Chamber Music Queen (talk) 20:55, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello again,
- You said last last week that you understood our autobiography policy and the issues with conflicts of interest (COI). I asked you to disclose your COI, and was under the impression that you would do this. Can you please tell me if you have done so, because I cannot seem to find this disclosure anywhere?
- Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:35, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you much. Appreciate your instructions. I did follow up with that, and hopefully it appeared where you can see it.
- Best, CM Queen Chamber Music Queen (talk) 23:06, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I can see that you have added a freeform COI statement, of sorts, to the talk page of Draft:Karen Iglitzin. Thank you for that. It would be better if you used the templates intended for this purpose, but any disclosure is better than none.
- You need to add a similar disclosure to every draft and article with regard to which you have a COI, such as Draft:Chamber Music Institute at the Olympic Festival Farm.
- Next, you should not be editing published articles where you have a COI; you should instead make edit request via those articles' talk pages, using the {{edit COI}} template. You appear to be editing articles related to your father; this is a clear COI. Some of the subjects are further removed, such as ex-colleagues of your father, and it is less clear whether your COI still applies. My advice would be to err on the side of caution, and assume the COI is there even in less clear-cut cases.
- You should also not be publishing articles directly, where you have a COI.
- You should probably not be publishing articles directly, just yet, even when you don't have a COI. The reason I say this is that a moment ago I moved one of your creations, Irwin Eisenberg, into the draft space, because it is insufficiently referenced and does not provide adequate evidence of notability. I would suggest that, until such time as you are confident that you thoroughly understand our notability and verifiability rules, you continue to put your creations through the AfC review process rather than publishing them directly yourself.
- Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:24, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks much for the info and explanations. I'll keep working on all this! 73.109.48.146 (talk) 18:46, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, I just did some more editing. I would certainly appreciate any feedback if there are other things I could do to improve the article. Chamber Music Queen (talk) 00:25, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- I understand both these points. Thanks. Chamber Music Queen (talk) 20:55, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

November 2024
editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Charles Brennand, from its old location at User:Chamber Music Queen/Charles Brennand. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 01:20, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

Irwin Eisenberg moved to draftspace
editThanks for your contributions to Irwin Eisenberg. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:10, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
