Please go to the link http://www.getreading.co.uk/blogs/andanotherthing/s/2087196_fond_farewell_to_mr_pinky This is a true and unusual story of a cat who is a companion who will never leave my side during ill health caused by the onset of diabetes. The new cat would only respond to the name of Mr Pinky and has behaved in exactly the same way. A draft has been accepted for a book where proceeds are to be shared with charities . There is a large following on facebook. Deletion of this article would simply be deleting the truth.
