Progress on WP:Snuggle and work log
editI've been making some progress on Snuggle development recently and I could use your feedback. Specifically, I've created a work log that I plan to update every time I get a chance to work on Snuggle. My intention is that you'll be able to watch that page to track my progress so I can get your feedback on features when they are early in development. The most recent entry (also the only entry) discusses new functionality for interacting with newcomers via Snuggle. I posted some mockups in the work log that show how I imagine the new features to work and I could use some feedback before I start writing the code. Thanks! --EpochFail(talk • work) 20:29, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- I would love to start coding with Python sooner or later. The Snuggle endeavor does run mainly on Python, no? That's what's indicated on Bitbucket. --Carrot Lord (talk) 16:53, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about your frustrations
editI'm sorry you had a bad time, man. If you ever care to come back to Wikipedia, let me know. I could use your help. --EpochFail(talk • work) 20:37, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
- I will come back to Wikipedia when it is not mostly written in PHP and does not mostly use MediaWiki software. If you are not sure what that means, that is fine. I will prove it through demonstration, and not talk. Your research is incredibly interesting, and I do hope you keep it up. --Carrot Lord (talk) 06:21, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'm eager to see what you come up with. I'll probably still be around. :) --EpochFail(talk • work) 15:08, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
Revising the nominations process at Wikipedia:Today's article for improvement
editI'm seeking wider input on a proposed redesign of the nomination process over at TAFI. The current method could benefit from some streamlining and usability tweaks. If you feel so inclined, I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter. --NickPenguin(contribs) 23:03, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Gender Equality
edit( [ [Bward1125 talk: Illogical image| Hello Carrot Lord, I'm very new at editing and contacting wikipedians so please excuse any mistakes and feel free to give pointers. Anyways, I was looking at the Gender Equality page and noticed you said that they used an illogical picture and I was wondering what picture are you talking about if it's not the one still up, and why you felt it was an illogical image? Thanks a lot I appreciate it. ] ] )--Bward1125 (talk) 20:08, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- The picture I used was that of a double equals sign used in equality testing (computer programming). Since computer programming normally has nothing to do with gender equality, I think either I or another Wikipedian removed the image.
- Wikipedia edits are often short lived, but that's not a bad thing, since everything gets cleaned up and sharpened in the end, so to speak.
- I am also a very novice editor who has made lots of mistakes in the past. The current image you see in the article is the official emblem for gender equality. --Carrot Lord (talk) 00:00, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Flashygoodness listed at Redirects for discussion
editAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Flashygoodness. Since you had some involvement with the Flashygoodness redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. AmaryllisGardener talk 03:58, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Iji-For-Any-Operating-System-Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Willy1018 (talk) 07:34, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
