Dear Bogger, I noticed your name was under the participants' list of WikiProject United Nations. I wanted to invite you to contribute to the advancement of this project. Here's how you can do so: 1. Follow the instructions available here: https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Help:Adding_open_license_text_to_Wikipedia 3. Attribute the text using the 'Free-content attribution' template in the 'Sources' section. 5. Add your contribution in the table here: https://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_United_Nations/Open_Access_text/Education_publications Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! Looking forward to working with you on enriching Wikipedia, one article at a time:)! C.recalde   — Preceding unsigned comment added by C.recalde (talkcontribs) 11:21, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Hiya. A weird left-field question. Which you are, of course, entirely free to ignore :) What prompted you to write the article? Did something happen recently that it put it (back?) on your radar? (I ask mainly as I happened to see Kearns' book in a bargain bin recently, and so was then intrigued when I saw the article pop-up as a DYK candidate at around the same time. To the extent that I went back and bought the book....) Guliolopez (talk) 11:12, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

Every Paddy's Day the parish priest pulls out the CD and plays "Hail Glorious Saint Patrick", I took that as a sign of notability. It is only mentioned via it's author Sister Agnes, so I thought it worth researching if I'd imagined how successful the album was at the time. I can't find a source to put it in List of best-selling albums by country#Ireland. Bogger (talk) 11:22, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
I also created Pope John Paul II's visit to Ireland, I'm 70% sure that was not a figment of my imagination either. Bogger (talk) 11:24, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
Okeydokey. Thanks. Just to be clear, I wasn't asking because I thought there was a problem with notability or reality or anything (it absolutely is notable and worthy of coverage). I was only asking because I found the coincidence intriguing :) (That it popped into my peripheral vision again at around the same time as it did yours). And I was therefore just wondering if something specific had triggered you to write it now. (Perhaps you saw the same book in the same shop even.) That's all. No panic :) Guliolopez (talk) 11:31, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

June 2019

Your recent editing history at Calibra shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
It is WP:BRD not BRRRD. You've incompletely moved my comments missing the crucial (explaining) aspect to show you nagivation is per guideline and essay, continuing to edit war your unilateral and contested change of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC (and then unilateral removal of primary topic) rather than discuss despite breaking the navigation setout per the dabs and hatnotes. Rather than go fix them all when they're now disrupted, how about we get more opinions, and you self revert so the nav is all working again? You haven't even used the redirect I created Calibra (company). It's a disruptive mess. Widefox; talk 09:32, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

So I made a change you reverted, I reverted citing evidence that searches for "Calibra" rose significantly due to facebook, you reverted citing comparable weighting for both, so I created a disambiguation page, and in the talk page I stated, and I stated again that I wouldn't undo your revert again, pending discussion. I hadn't seen your [Calibra (company)]] redirect. I think it's close to, but not yet an edit war. But obviously I'm biased. Mea culpa. I will self revert. Bogger (talk) 09:44, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
The only thing unclear to me is the Wikidata aspect. Can you explain please, in case I need to get something changed there to align with Wikipedia's aims? Widefox; talk 10:07, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
[1] Wikidata is a collection of entities and relationships. Many of these entities have wikipedia articles, some do not. A Wikidata redirect in wikipedia allows a link to a wikidata page for an entity not yet considered article worthy. If I find a redirect which has an entry in wikidata (or vice versa) I'll link the two. I'm not sure if that answer's your questions.Bogger (talk) 13:20, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
