Hello.
Welcome to Wikipedia
editYour twin asked me if he could put the user shortcuts I put on his account to get him started on yours. I decided to do him the favor and put them on myself (it's on your user page, and I removed them from here, giving you more room for notes). Also, if you run into problems, drop me a line and maybe I can help out. Wikipedia is a big place, and there are a lot of different rules, guidelines and unspoken rules that are going to be really confusing at first. Let me know if I can help. Have a groovy day. - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:28, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Verifiability
editIt's verifiable because it was said "for the record" - if he said it on radio, over the internet on his website, it would be verifiable. What I was going to put on the talk (but decided against it) is that the final delegation of the votes would most likely rest with the delegate and I imagine that Malta aren't the only one to fix phone-in results (if they even did) - remember, the EBU scrutineer only sees point allocations, not phone-in results (although the two would be the same most of the time). Your recent edits
editHi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 18:39, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You appear to be participating in a revert war, this is not permitted per WP:3RR. You are encouraged to discuss the matter on the article talkpage. LessHeard vanU 16:44, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Axel, I am giving you this warning since you are beginning to wear out the patience of a more experienced editor. This does not mean that he is right and you are wrong about the facts, but you are editing in an inappropriate manner. The principle behind editing is WP:Consensus and as you are changing the agreed content you have to prove that you have the agreement of the majority (this is an instance of where you must not ask your twin to support you - that is meatpuppetry) for the changes. Wikipedia is not a game where one player wins, but a project where the encyclopedia does. Please ask for the assistance of Arcayne before editing the article again. Thanks. - Sceptre is not mean (and even if they are, it is not important) and he does have some history in editing the article. As you are unable to find consensus for your edits then it appears it will remain as it is for the time being. I suggest you find another subject and, learning from this episode, join in in improving it.LessHeard vanU 17:48, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
Nonsense of Northern Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Northern Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Northern Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest provides no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Northern Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Admin coaching request status
editYou have expressed interest in undergoing the Admin coaching program. However, after reviewing your edit history, I feel you may need more frequent editing sessions on Wikipedia before you can know for certain your ready to begin the process of becoming an administrator. Therefore, at this time, your application for Admin Coaching has been declined.
My suggestion would be to seek adoption from a more experienced user who can help you experience all of the various components of editing an encyclopedia. If you decide adoption is not for you, there is also the editor review process that may help you find areas to improve upon in our editing. If you would like to talk more about this, please feel free to leave me a my talk page. MBisanz talk 21:22, 27 February 2008 (UTC) |
