editHello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, British Rail Class 315, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. Hello, I'm Danners430. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to British Rail Class 315. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. Danners430 (talk) 11:06, 2 June 2022 (UTC)

- Hi Ashj12, there are plenty of free resources for referencing pages online. Specific to British Rail Class 315, there are websites such as RailAdvent, RAIL magazine and other railway specific news sites that can be used. Additionally, content from magazines, such as the paper copy of RAIL and other railway magazines, could be used as perfectly valid sources. As an example, I personally do not subscribe to any website to get references - I try to use publicly available references wherever possible. Danners430 (talk) 11:26, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at British Rail Class 315. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. Well Dan my reference was real videos where 315s were being sent to scrap were people were filming (all 315 scraps er on YouTube) and I know by that what 315s er around still Ashj12 (talk) 11:32, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
- Like I said on my talk page in reply to yourself, Youtube is generally not a reliable source under WP:UGC, unless it comes from an official account. An example of an official account would be Network Rail putting a video up about their test trains, and this being used as a reference for said test trains. Danners430 (talk) 11:36, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
Well how is trainspotters on YouTube not reliable when they film the thing go by Ashj12 (talk) 11:38, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
