Proposed deletion of List of ROBLOX games

edit

The article List of ROBLOX games has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable games.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. List of ROBLOX games moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, List of ROBLOX games, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. ... discospinster talk 01:06, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:List of ROBLOX games

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:List of ROBLOX games, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Jalen D. Proposed deletion of Bubble Guppies (season 5)

edit

The article Bubble Guppies (season 5) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject of this article does not pass Wikipedia's general notability guideline. I found routine coverage that mentions the season in passing ([1][2]) and blog coverage ([3]), but no significant coverage in reliable sources. The article does not have any incoming links and there aren't articles for any of the previous season (Bubble Guppies (season 1), etc.), so I don't think redirecting would be advisable.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 22:35, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi NeilNeil. To clarify, sources like this don't establish the season's notability because they a) are routine coverage and b) don't include in-depth discussion about the season—the specific guidelines about this are WP:ROUTINE and WP:SIGCOV. Let me know if you have any questions or if you find additional sources. – Lord Bolingbroke (talk) 22:48, 4 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:BubbleGuppiesFanBoiRoblox.png

edit

A tag has been placed on File:BubbleGuppiesFanBoiRoblox.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

Speedy deletion nomination of Vilam (watch company)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vilam (watch company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Arthurfan828 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

First of all, I didn’t vandalize on this account. Yes, I did create the CallMeBlonde, CaillouFan, BubbleGuppiesIsTheBest and more accounts. I saw the block for sock puppetry notice 2 months ago, so, I edited Wikipedia on CaillouFan account. However, I saw the block notice on my userpage yesterday night. Why did I make sockpuppet accounts? Well, when I created CallMeBlonde it got blocked almost a year ago for vandalism. However, I thought my edits on that account were helpful. So, I created BubbleGuppiesIsTheBest account (which got blocked this year). It got blocked for being rude to a user because of a source. I thought to myself lesson learned, never be rude to anybody, and promised not to do it again when I created this account. After that one got blocked, I used this account I created a year ago and when it got blocked, I moved on to CaillouFan. I did request to get myself blocked because I just needed a break from Wikipedia. Around, 20 minutes later, I saw the block screen. This is why I want to get unblocked please. I just miss Wikipedia. Thank you.

Decline reason:

This entire unblock request just explains how you violated WP:SOCK and serves to reinforce the decision to block you in the first place. Your only option at this point to to abide by the standard offer which includes the requirement that you don't edit at all, from any account or IP, for at least six months.Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:45, 24 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Replaceable fair use File:IPadmini5(2019).jpeg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:IPadmini5(2019).jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ViperSnake151  Talk  23:19, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
