License tagging for Image:Wolfowitz awards marine.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Wolfowitz awards marine.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

First of all I wanted to thank you for your edits to the My Lai articles, and also to ask you about this Wolfowitz image you keep uploading. If you show me the URL for it, I can try to help you get it added to WP so it stays up and won't get deleted :) Sherurcij (Speaker for the Dead) 08:35, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Effectiveness of MARPAT
editHey, this is your question in the talk page about MARPAT:
MARPAT woodland seems much more effective than the ARMY's ACU in temperate climates. Can't believe the ARMY opted for a universal pattern, and that they argued that "black is not a naturally occurring color". Have any tests been conducted between the two patterns? Antarctica moon (talk) 07:22, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
And this is my response:
I guess its hard to say. MARPAT started earlier than ACU, so its older style camo - divided to woodland and desert. It probably works better in special enviroments, but I think ACU is really good for fighting in the cities and also in the grassland areas, which can be found all over the Middle East. --Novis-M (talk) 03:47, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Shinseki wounded.JPG
editThank you for uploading File:Shinseki wounded.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 20:23, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
The article Kerry Seldin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence that this individual meets the notability criteria for inclusion as outlined at WP:ENT.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:29, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
