editWelcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Barred Eagle-owl has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. \ / (⁂) 11:00, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Umm, how is adding the image of the species from commons unconstructive? --Albval (talk) 11:03, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ha, Ignore me, I must have tried to revert a different page. Apologies, I owe you one. :) \ / (⁂) 11:09, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- No worries, thanks for the clarification! --Albval (talk) 11:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Adding images of birds
editHello, I notice you added an image of a species from Flickr to a bird article (Fan-tailed Grassbird) with no photo. This is great, but can you also try to remove the 'needs-photo=yes' from the template on the talk page? See the talk page of this species for an example. Richard001 (talk) 05:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I'll do that in the future. Didin't know the template even existed. --Albval (talk) 16:39, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Re: Aspitates gilvaria
editHello there! I have taken it from a site of a fellow country man of yours, see: http://www.funet.fi/pub/sci/bio/life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/geometroidea/geometridae/ennominae/aspitates/index.html. I use this site quite often, but some of the info is incomplete and/or outdated, so it might be this ssp. is elevated to species level or placed as a synonym. If you find out, could you correct the English article as well? Thanks! Ruigeroeland (talk) 08:53, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'll see what I can do, but the sources (excluding random webpages) are hard to come by. --Albval (talk) 09:07, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hello again! I'm affraid I wont be able to help you with that. You could try user Dumi on the German wikipedia, he seems a proper specialist and I think he would be able to help you out. I only make articles on wikipedia and am not a specialist in real life.. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruigeroeland (talk • contribs)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
