Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Hana El Zahed. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:39, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wegz (Ahmed Ali), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Egyptian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Farah El Zahed moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Farah El Zahed, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. bonadea contributions talk 08:59, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Wegz (Ahmed Ali)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Wegz (Ahmed Ali), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. bonadea contributions talk 09:05, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Huda El Mufti

edit

The article Huda El Mufti has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Meszzy2 (talk) 20:22, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I am working on the references. Alanwrick1 (talk) 21:02, 21 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Alanwrick1! Your additions to Women4Africa Award have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 15:47, 22 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I didnt move rejected drafts, I worked on the comments then moved it. Actually I don't understand why I got blocked meanwhile I've been following the guidelines and manged to create about 6 articles and all of them got accepted after moving it. The other reason listed for blocking was "repeating other disruptive edits despite warnings" I did that once by mistake and apologised and never did it again.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 10:29, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You didn't move a rejected draft? Maybe have a look at this edit, which was the second time that you tried to move that draft to article space. This was the state of the article right before you moved it. Surely you saw the massive red box that says "Submission declined on 14 January 2023". You also tried moving the page on January 8, here, and you were warned not to do that again here. Your user talk page is filled with warnings for other disruptive things that you've been doing, and you've even responded to some of them, so I know you see them. If you want to be unblocked, you'll need to post a message that clearly describes what you did wrong, shows a clear understanding of why it was wrong, and commits to not doing those things again. Any admin can decide to unblock you, it doesn't need to be me. —ScottyWong— 16:45, 3 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

{{ unblock | I have been working on this account for over month and studied the guidelines weeks before. I created many drafts, worked on it, asked guidence many times and finally published more than one. These drafts got reviewed and accepted already. What I've done wrong during this month is two things. The first one that I linked a draft to a published page, first time I didn't knew it was wrong. The second time I really forgot as I was working on the other drafts and apologiesed for the administrative. Later on, after creating more than 5 articles, I worked on two drafts, read the comments on it and edited these drafts before publishing it. I really thought it was okay if I already worked on those comments but I got blocked for that. I re read the guidelines and totally understand that I am not yet allowed to do so. I promise not to move any declined drafts to main space and I will not link any draft to articles. Please consider unblock me and give me a second chance. Thank you.
