Halloween

edit

I have proded Halloween Theme for deletion because it does not warrant an article to itself. The music is covered already at Halloween (franchise)#Music. In addition, there is no "Themes" section of the infobox. Thus, when you add "Themes" it does not actually show up in the article. The infobox has a separate page for its code. Articles are only using a transcluded version of that box to add their credits to the article.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 13:56, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Per Löfberg

edit

The article Per Löfberg has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. jsfouche ☽☾ talk 15:50, 14 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is an automated message from VWBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Chris Maris, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.chrismaris.com/chrismarisyoutube_007.htm.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Emma Åberg

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Emma Åberg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bluefist talk 23:25, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Emma Åberg

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Emma Åberg, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 23:32, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

John Ajvide Lindqvist wrote about it on the forum of his official website. It's in Swedish but I can post the link and you can use google translate to check for yourself. And I am 100% sure that's the man himself sayin that. His account on the forum is fittingly johnajvide. But as it is in Swedish and there are only a not a to great number of users it has not come out to the press yet.

The Fourth State

edit

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of The Fourth State, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: The Forth State. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 14:56, 22 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I made the mistake of not typing in an "u" when I created a page for the film The Fourth State and it became The Forth State. I am trying to correct my sloppy mistake.

Proposed deletion of Anna Fischer

edit

The article Anna Fischer has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bihco (talk) 14:39, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Great Dictator

edit

Please do not add your own personal commentary or analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did with these edits to The Great Dictator. Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. While the opinions of critics or analysts may be added to articles on artistic or narrative works, Wikipedia editors may not add their own opinions or viewpoints, as this violates the site's Neutrality Policy.

Also, please understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and should be written with care taken in adhering to basic principles of writing. Specifically, spaces go in between parenthesis and the words surrounding them, and the proper phrase is "This is met by applause", not "This is meet by applause".

If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 23:10, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Niklas Grönberg

edit

Hi AgentSniff, you recently removed a deletion tag from Niklas Grönberg. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:16, 21 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Zorya may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Deletion discussion about Gordon Brown (actor)

edit

Hello, AgentSniff,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Gordon Brown (actor) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gordon Brown (actor) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Inferior (film)

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Inferior (film), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Inferiror (film).

CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:37, 18 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Underworld (2003 film), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 13:41, 19 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Failure to use edit summaries per Wikipedia policy

edit

Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! - R9tgokunks 20:29, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Viking Sisters moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, The Viking Sisters, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Dragonetti: The Ruthless Contract Killer

edit

The article Dragonetti: The Ruthless Contract Killer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No secondary sourcing, no sign of notability--and that extends to the film maker.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Duke Guthorm

edit

I do not believe that your new article Duke Guthorm meets WP:Notability. Also, the first part of it is rather hard to understand. Perhaps it should be removed until it better describes things? Loymdayddaud (talk) 15:05, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
