Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to We Are Seven has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 18:35, 11 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

I noticed your addition of the text on We Are Seven got reverted by Cluebot. My suspicion is that the formatting you used triggered a false alarm for "nonsense edits" (i.e. a long column of text without carriage returns can do that). I went in and put a link to Wikisource, as that's really the more appropriate place for full texts than Wikipedia itself.
Anyways, please look at the edit and let me know if you have any problems with my modifications.

Picture editing

edit

Thanks for reaching out to me with your question. The first thing to do when you want to add a picture is to upload the JPG, PNG, GIF or other graphics file. The process for that is here. You will be asked for some information, including whether or not you have a copyright on the file. Wikipedia is very sensitive to copyrights since they'r worried about being sued.

The next step is to edit the article and put in [[File:FILENAME.JPG|thumb]] into the article, where FILENAME.JPG is the file you uploaded. There are many things you can control about where on the page it should appear, its size, and other stuff. Take a quick peek here for more details, but don't let the the options intimidate you. Just note the location and know you can come back to it later.

Note that as long as you can edit the article the process should be the same on a PC, a kindle (as you asked), or any device.

Finally, if you'd like to get help on any question more quickly, either post your question at the Help desk or edit your own talk page (here) and add {{Help me}} followed by your question. There are volunteers who watch both the help desk and do searches for the {{Help me}} template. As a bonus, they'll probably know more about editing than I do.

Good luck! KNHaw (talk) 17:36, 21 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
