Matcha tea edit

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. This edit was reverted because:

1. caffeine does not contribute to the flavor of tea

2. the source, an MDPI journal, is suspected of being predatory, and so is not a reliable reference

3. the source also makes unfounded claims that catechins in tea have health benefits; they have no known functions in humans, and there is no proof from clinical research that matcha tea has any effect in humans.

There is little evidence that drinking any tea, including matcha, has any effect on human health.

Good luck in your editing. Zefr (talk) 22:10, 30 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
