Hello, I'm Adam Black. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to 2016 United States presidential election in Alaska have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. It doesn't damage the article. And Trump describes himself as "Donald J. Trump" 78.177.160.99 (talk) 09:43, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please refer to WP:MOS. Adam Black talkcontribs 11:08, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi - you seem to still be mass changing references to "Donald Trump" to "Donald J. Trump" - could you please stop doing this BugGhost🪲👻 13:50, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Why? He labels himself as "Donald J. Trump" 78.177.160.99 (talk) 13:51, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Because Wikipedia works via getting a consensus on things like this - if you want to change how Wikipedia refers to him, please go to Talk:Donald Trump and start a topic there about it, and if everyone agrees with you, you can keep going. For now though, you should stop. BugGhost🪲👻 13:54, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Note that they seem to have already discussed it at length and have decided to keep the name "Donald Trump" rather than "Donald J. Trump" - see the "Current consensus" section (point #12) on Talk:Donald Trump. BugGhost🪲👻 14:02, 1 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have reverted your edits as they were not constructive. As @Bugghost has said, the subject of whether or not to refer to Trump as "Donald J. Trump" has been discussed at length. You are welcome to open a discussion on the talk page and put forward your argument for making the change, but based on previous discussions it is unlikely to gain consensus. I have also reverted your edits where you changed the picture representing Trump, as this is another change which should have consensus. Please don't be discouraged from editing, you are more than welcome to continue contributing to Wikipedia, but please take the time to take a look at Wikipedia policies and guidelines first, particularly consensus, before making any further widespread changes. about names once more

edit

Hey there, I saw you're still changing Donald Trump's name to Donald J. Trump. As discussed above, Wikipedia operates on consensus on changes. Reading WP:COMMONNAME, and as suggested above the established (and quite heavily discussed) consensus at Talk:Donald Trump might be useful perspective. An amplifier is an electronic device that increases the voltage, current, or power of a signal. Amplifiers are used in wireless communications and broadcasting, and in audio equipment of all kinds. They can be categorized as either weak-signal amplifiers or power amplifiers. Ramja Simle 7 (talk) 10:39, 8 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

stop contributing to vandalism of MKP page

edit

You are contributing to vandalism of the MKP page. Please don't do that. Some people, including you, have edited said page to reflect the ideas of some particular political groups. These ideas are things such as the adherence of MKP to what they actually have long considered to be outdated, such as "Mao Zedong thought", or the "theory of three worlds".

Some people aligned with certain political groups claim that this is true, although MKP has made a point of describing its ideology as Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, even naming itself the "Maoist Communist Party" to emphasize the hard focus on Maoism.

Your claims have no basis that I know of, and I am trying to improve that article by adding to it. If your claims have some basis you should edit the article with at least some source, add material, and act in a constructive manner.

It would be appreciated. Freyheytlid (talk) 08:11, 18 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
