- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- I'm sorry for this misunderstanding. But although your good intentions, you deleted more than only the dead link: when you check your diff at the top, you will see that you deleted also the commons category and the "Aircraft components" template. I suspect that doing a delete via the VisualEditor this delete is not that clean as it should be, and created this misunderstanding. The VisualEditor is not that long in use on the English Wikipedia and this is the first time I see this bad behavior. I suggest for deletions to use the tab "Edit source" instead of the tab "Edit" (VisualEditor). This way you have better control on what you delete. I used it to delete only the section External links, with only the dead link on article Air brake (aircraft), as you can validate here. Regards, SchreyP (messages) 20:26, 29 July 2013 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
