The Haunting Hour response
editI did the fix to the mess hall in List of The Haunting Hour: The Series episodes, but the other thing was implied to the viewers. --Rtkat3 (talk) 13:35, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

editHello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Thomas & Friends (series 1), did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please read WP:TONE before changing "is not" to "isn't", etc. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 21:12, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 1). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have been asked to read the guidelines at WP:TONE repeatedly. Your edits do not adhere to how we write encyclopaedic content on WP. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 21:33, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Re: Thomas & Friends
editYou keep changing them to "U.K." and "U.S.", which is not the correct format for a British-based series. And again, please read the guidelines at WP:TONE—"isn't" or "he's" is unacceptable for a formally written encyclopaedia. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 21:24, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- OK no worries, as long as you're aware of them. In formal encyclopaedic writing we use "he is" rather than "he's", per WP:TONE. And we use "UK" rather than "U.K.", per MOS:ABBR ("U.S." and "UK" also cannot be mixed together). Mac Dreamstate (talk) 21:53, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
- That all looks fine. You also fixed some typos in there, which is good. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 10:41, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
- Because we're using "UK" for the United Kingdom, please use "US" (without the dots) for the United States. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 11:58, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
The Haunting Hour response 2
editI'm letting you know that prank calling and crank mean the same thing, so I don't think I can do that. --Rtkat3 (talk) 13:31, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Some Girls, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Binksternet (talk) 21:41, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the The Simpsons Guy plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 04:59, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

Apostrophes
editHi. I noticed that you mistakenly removed a few apostrophes in the falling down article. I remember asking another editor about that some time ago. They were particularly interested in the Power Rangers, Thomas the Tank engine, the Simpsons etc. Sadly, the user turned out to be a persistent sockpuppet and was banned. editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Van Halen (album) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Van Halen (album) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/Van-Halen-Van-Halen/release/1030807) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:12, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
