Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to The Prince, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by ClueBot NG.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Ave Maria University, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 23:23, 20 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Your recent edits seem to have the appearance of edit warring. Users are expected to collaborate and discuss with others and avoid editing disruptively.

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 99.12.242.170 (talk) 19:35, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't help that you're continuing to remove well-sourced content, with the explanation that it's all wrong. You'll need more than that to justify deleting the passages in question. 99.12.242.170 (talk) 19:35, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Please discuss on the article's talk page rather than edit warring! Swarm X 02:19, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Ave Maria University

Hello 67.239.64.253. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Ave Maria University, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to you, your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

It would be useful to talk about changes on the discussion page. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ave Maria University. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Edit warring at Occupy Wall Street

edit
Your recent editing history at Occupy Wall Street shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. -- Brangifer (talk) 23:26, 11 March 2012 (UTC) alrite then, where's this talk page for OWS? Considering a variety of editors from a variety of backgrounds have reverted you, you may need to reconsider where the POV accusations need to go. WP:Verifiability is the cornerstone of this site, not WP:TRUTH. Ian.thomson (talk) 23:53, 11 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
I have not deleted any CONTENT, just MOVED it under controversy WHERE IT BELONGS. Do you see Penn State's page having a beginning summary about their recent sex scandal, or any other college? On that note, you CANNOT put something controversial in the opening summary on the page in question. That's all there is to it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.239.64.253 (talkcontribs)
Except that:
  • the controversy that occured in Penn State was not a result of the founder, it was with a few employees in the sports department
  • the Penn state controversy was not about someone getting fired for expressing concern over the university's financial situation, it was over some seriously bad behavior
  • the Penn State Nittany Lions football does indeed discuss the scandal in the introduction,
  • we have an entire article covering the Penn State sex abuse scandal.
Quite a difference. Ian.thomson (talk) 00:09, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, 67.239.64.253. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Ave Maria University, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 21:53, 15 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Angela Ponce. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! Your recent editing history at Ascension of Jesus shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 01:45, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Tgeorgescu. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Ascension of Jesus that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. tgeorgescu (talk) 04:28, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
