Hello, thank you for creating the above mentioned draft, as I've previously created it and left it to rot it is still on my watchlist. Jxmmi was not featured on "Throw Sum Mo" and other listed recordings as he is the primary artist as a member of Rae Sremmurd, and would please not overlink names, if you already mentioned Mike Will Made It before please don't link it again because as much as your draft is promising it might not get accepted and might require clean up first. Otherwise, good job. dxneo (talk) 00:33, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
- And you don't have to mention every song he was featured on, only breakthrough songs like "No Flex Zone" and "No Type" will do, you may mention studio albums. Featured songs can be listed under the discography section Thank you dxneo (talk) 00:36, 12 January 2024 (UTC)

- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- Hello Robert McClenon, I happen to disagree with you on the subject not being suitable for a standalone article due to no SIGCOV and such, see this and tell me if it's just "passing mention(s)". He has been the subject of multiple independent news articles here, here, here, here, and probably more since I can't cite the whole internet. I like feel you judged the draft based on its previously AFD'd article. I strongly urge you to reconsider, I'll be on the lookout for your response Thank you. dxneo (talk) 10:58, 13 January 2024 (UTC)

editHello 2RDD. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:2RDD. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=2RDD|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Various articles. Your very first edit clearly do not look like a very first edit either. Graywalls (talk) 19:26, 10 May 2024 (UTC)

Edit Conflit / Wikipedia Guidelines
edit@2RDD Hello Trust You Are Doing Fine ? First of all i would like to state that coming to my talkpage to rain insult on me is highly unproffesional and not acceptable because of an edit i made on the article Verydarkman you tagged stub which as an editor we are suppose to expand.
According to Wikipedia's guidelines, any registered editor has the right to edit or make changes to almost any page, provided that these edits are supported by reliable citations. Threatening to block me for making changes that I believe are accurate is both unacceptable and unprofessional. Wikipedia is not a private blog or a personal website where individual preferences dictate content. It is a collaborative platform where contributions are made in good faith, and edits are based on verifiable sources. Blocking me undermines the fundamental principle of Wikipedia, which is to create a comprehensive and balanced repository of knowledge through the collective efforts of its community. It is essential to respect this collaborative nature and address disagreements through discussion and consensus, rather than resorting to threats and unilateral actions . Afrowriter (talk) 08:22, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Afrowriter: I understand you want to expand but when expanding try to use reliable sources all else Unreliable source tag would be placed on it. Leave the article Verydarkman for now. In the future we will expand it. But not now. Simple as that. And two: You are not writing neutral point of view. 2RDD (talk) 08:34, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- @2RDD You cannot dismiss top Nigerian news platforms like Premium Times, Vanguard, Channels TV, and Daily Times as unreliable sources. These are well-respected publications with a track record of accurate reporting. Despite not being from Nigeria, my extensive experience writing for Wikipedia allows me to confidently assert that the sources I used are credible and reliable sources. Asking me not to contribute to an article you created, especially when my edits are backed by evidence from these credible sources, is against Wikipedia's principles. Wikipedia's rules emphasize the importance of verifiability and the use of reliable sources, regardless of the editor's background. By preventing me from contributing, you are not only undermining these principles but also stifling the collaborative spirit that Wikipedia thrives on. It's essential to respect the guidelines and allow contributions that enhance the accuracy and comprehensiveness of articles. Afrowriter (talk) 08:47, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- @2RDD Wikipedia guidelines emphasize the importance of reliable sources. Reliable sources are typically those that have editorial oversight, are peer-reviewed, or are recognized as authoritative in their field. These include academic journals, reputable news outlets, and recognized experts. When changes are made to an article based on such sources, they enhance the credibility and accuracy of the content. also changes made to the article which were backed with reliable sources we be reverted as Wikipedia is not a private website or biography blog space where you make edit based how you feel it should be when its supposed to be based on information found on this notable platforms. Afrowriter (talk) 11:05, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
Civility towards other editors
editHi 2RDD, I read the messages you left on Afrowrtier's talk page. You have to remain civil when you're communicating with other editors. Words like "fuck" is not civil at all. Moving forward, I suggest you speak to this person in a calm tone. Perhaps, do not respond to them in the heat of the moment. You don't have any power to block other editors. If Afrowriter does something that isn't right, try to resolve the issue via communication. If you feel like the issue cannot be resolve between you two, then you can report him to an administrator. Versace1608 Wanna Talk? 14:34, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello all, @Versace1608 @2RDD
- I am writing to address the recent deletions and reverts on the VeryDarkMan page. I believe that the content I have contributed adheres to Wikipedia's guidelines, specifically the principles of verifiability, neutrality, and no original research.
- I have made a concerted effort to maintain a neutral tone throughout my contributions. My intention has been to present facts without bias, providing a balanced view of the subject........ The content I added is based on previously published material. I have not included any original analysis or synthesis of the information, strictly adhering to Wikipedia’s policy.
- Despite these efforts, my edits have been repeatedly removed. I am reaching out to request a collaborative discussion to resolve these differences. It is important that we work together to ensure the article meets Wikipedia’s standards and provides accurate information to its readers.

- Martins Vincent Otse (born 8 April 1994), popularly known as VeryDarkMan, is a Nigerian activist, controversial figure, critic and social media influencer. He gained significant attention within the Nigerian online community, particularly for his contentious and often debated statements on various topics, including the 2023 Death of MohBad case.
- I appreciate your cooperation and look forward to resolving this matter amicably.
- Best regards, Afrowriter (talk) 15:14, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Afrowriter: I just saw the edit you made to the article, the one that 2RDD undid. For starters, "controversial figure" should not be listed among VDM's other occupations. VDM is a Nigerian activist and social media influencer who has made a few controversial remarks in the past. If you take a look at the articles of several people who have made controversial remarks (Andrew Tate, Kanye West, etc), you will not see "controversial figure" listed side by side with their other occupation. You can definitely mention some of his controversial commentary in the article's body and perhaps summed it up in the lede. However, I do not think it is right to label him a controversial figure since it isn't the norm on Wikipedia. In your revision to the article, you said "He gained significant attention within the Nigerian online community, particularly for his contentious and often debated statements on various topics, including the 2023 Death of MohBad case". This particular statement isn't supported by the sources you cited. The Legit source does not state that VDM gained significant attention for commenting on Mohbad's autopsy results. The way you worded your statement, you make it look like VDM gained recognition and became popular for commenting on Mohbad's autopsy results and for being happy that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were released. Per these sources, VDM was already popular. His comments on these two stories did not make him popular or get him recognition. If you insist on adding your statement to the article, I recommend you find sources that explicitly support your statement. I don't see anything wrong with 2RDD undoing your edit. Like I said, feel free to include VDM's controversial commentary in the article's body and a summary of it in the lede. Just make sure that whatever statement you include in the VDM article is backed by a reliable source. Versace1608 Wanna Talk? 15:57, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
