Request edit
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello,
I am a past politician and someone continues to put incorrect information on my Wikipedia page for partisan reasons.
Specifically reference "In August 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was reported that a company owned by Baylis had been awarded a contract of 237 millions CAD$ to purchase ventilators. This raised questions about conflict of interest of granting such a contract to a company owned by a former member of parliament."
This statement is untrue. My company was NOT awarded any contract to do with Ventilators. The list of contracts awarded by the government is available here: https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/comm/aic-scr/contrats-contracts-eng.html#table-14 If you scroll to Table 14 you will see that there were 15 contracts awarded. Baylis Medical Company is listed on the website because Baylis Medical was not awarded any contract.
This is not the first time that this incorrect information has had to be removed.
I would ask that it please be removed again.
My email is fbaylis@baylismedtech.com if you require additional information. 209.226.106.177 (talk) 22:45, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
