Warnings
editHello! Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. At least one of your edits, while it may have been in good faith, was difficult to distinguish from vandalism. To help other editors understand the reason for the changes, you can use an edit summary for your contributions. You can also take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Partha Basak 20:09, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. - If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
- Fair enough, I'm pretty sure this has been discussed at the WikiProject Comics talk page, but I will bring it up there again. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 20:12, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Lectrician2. I noticed that in this edit to Clea, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Lectrician2 (talk) 04:00, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- I did explain why I removed it - it is unsourced. Information about actors playing characters in movies should always be sourced. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 13:21, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

- User:Yodas henchman, my edit, as indicated in the edit summary, was based on the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics#Does Mockingbird appear in the Hawkeye TV series?. Do you disagree with the outcome of that discussion, or the way I handled removing the material? 207.229.139.154 (talk) 13:09, 4 January 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Jungle (board game), you may be blocked from editing. Fiwec81618 (talk) 03:17, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- Fiwec81618, can you explain how adding a wikilink to the cited book is disruptive? Thank you. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 03:24, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- It looks like the Playboy Press book is cited for the sentence "Jungle is a two-player strategy game and has been cited as resembling the Western game Stratego," and not the sentence that comes right before it where you added the wikilink to the book. Besides this, the source does not seem significant enough to spell out in the text of the lead. Fiwec81618 (talk) 03:36, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- Assuming good faith however I think the edit may not have been disruptive. When I sent the warning I only checked the source for the sentence where you added it and saw that it did not agree with the added wikilink; I saw the Playboy Press source for the other unmodified sentence only after I saw your Talk page message. Fiwec81618 (talk) 03:40, 11 January 2022 (UTC)
- You're right, I did add it to the wrong sentence! 207.229.139.154 (talk) 13:16, 11 January 2022 (UTC)

- Garnarblarnar, specifically, this edit that you pointed to, how is that vandalism? 207.229.139.154 (talk) 16:04, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Deleted warning, edit was ok, but unsourced. --Serols (talk) 14:46, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

Note that nowhere in the article is Daredevil identified as a mutant, as far as I am aware. If you think I made an error please let me know, and if you can explain how my edit was disruptive I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 04:58, 24 January 2022 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please stop edit warring at Thor (Marvel Comics) and take your dispute to the article's talk page. -- MelanieN (talk) 00:03, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

- Adakiko can you explain how removing unsourced text is unconstructive. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 04:13, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- The sources is specified to be Marvel Universe #42992. You also changed the link "Infinity Wars" to "Infinity Warps" - no such article. Adakiko (talk)
- Adakiko and what kind of a source is "Marvel Universe #42992"? Is that a comic book title, or another book of some kind, or a website? I'm pretty into comic books and I have to confess I actually have no idea what they are referring to and the person adding it did not specify where they got this information from. Now if you look at Infinity Wars and scroll maybe halfway down the page, you will see that there were indeed several titles published under the "Infinity Warps" warps name, although I will concede that there is no wikilink to that title, so changing it from "Infinity Warps" to "Infinity Wars" in this case actually makes the article less correct, but I can see changing it back without the redlink as being appropriate. In fact, if you look at the inline citations in that section, you will see that they still say "Infinity Warps" even after you reverted the section change. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 06:09, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

- Other than suggesting that you do understand edits before reverting them in future; because the citation template was warning of a generic author name when the author(s) named by the source are actually generic. By wrapping the author value in that way, the template ignores what would be a false-positive. I will revert your ill informed reversion of my edit now.

editHello. Your edit to Mr. Sinister was reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here.
I'm not sure why you fact-tagged some other entries, even though you had just added uncited material in other entries, but a given work can function as its own primary source for its existence, credits, and content, even though secondary sources are preferred. However, entires on a comics character's appearances in other media should be succinctly summarized, without excessive detail about those works' plots.
If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 15:15, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

- I moved some of them into the reception section, which is not easy as I'm using Google Translate to give me an idea of what the foreign review says. - Yes. Stop mangling articles by adding fake sections and broken date formats, which violate MOS:LAYOUT, MOS:DATES, and WP:PROSELINE at the very least. You actively destroyed valid section layouts, prose, and date formatting[3] and you never format citations, such as bare URLs. You and BOZ and possibly others have spammed this identical pattern of robotic, profoundly disruptive, and WP:TENDENTIOUS editing for years, leaving a huge mess for everyone else to clean up. Enough with the vandalism

- As you can see from the last comments in here, I'm not the only one complaining about your edits. You do not remove the title from the citation. If you don't think it's good enough, you either improve it by adding something more to it, or you just let it be. You do not remove anything from it. That's not improvement, that's making it worse. - {{cite web}} isn't that hard to use or figure out. If you see I or someone else has stripped the "title" from your bare citation, you can also activate User:Citation bot on that article to get it to generate a citation template. editYou removed my citation-needed mark for the pronunciation of Clea’s name, stating that there was there’s a citation for this in the infobox. Which citation, specifically, tells us how to pronounce Clea’s name? Neutron Jack (talk) 19:18, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
- My apologies @Neutron Jack, I misinterpreted. I thought your cn tag was for her name being "Clea Strange" (for which there is a citation in the infobox), not for the pronunciation itself. Add it back, I will not revert. 207.229.139.154 (talk) 19:52, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you—I will. I’ll add the cn tag inside of the parens, to emphasize that it's about the pronunciation. Neutron Jack (talk) 18:59, 2 June 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Just apologising for reverting your recent edit on the page (and correcting it in the 1st place, if it was yours originally).Your version was grammatically correct and clear! I realised it too late. I've restored it, of course. Yours, — MY, OH, MY! (mushy yank) — 20:50, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
- No problem, and thank you! 207.229.139.154 (talk) 05:38, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
