Request reason:
My school's (the Davidson Academy) network has been blocked and I would like to request a softening. The block states the Davidson Academy is part of the Washoe County School District, but despite its location it is not legally such, and the Washoe County School District's website does not list it. Our specific school's IP account has made multiple high-quality contributions to Wikipedia, with minimal vandalism, and I believe due to its standing that the school's IP address will continue to make good contributions should this softening go through.
Decline reason:
This IP falls within a blocked range, and may not just be that of your school. You may request an account at WP:ACC, or create one yourself at home, to edit at school. The other thing you can do is ask a school official like a teacher or administrator to use WP:UTRS to contact us, and provide an official school email address that is listed on the school website, to request changes to the block. 331dot (talk) 17:39, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
