CS1 error on Indigenous People of Biafra

August 2023

{{unblock|Woke up this morning to get notified of being blocked for sockpuppet. This is a shock to me as l have tried to fathom how but it's not going down with me. I created account two months ago, yes, but before I created an account, l vowed never to violate Wikipedia rules, policies and guidelines on editing and I have continued to maintain it. It's so sad that l got blocked for being a suspect sockpuppetry. This breaks my heart that throughout the last two months, l have contributed widely to Wikipedia and will continue to do so without editing disruptively. I'm not saying what you @</nowiki>Bbb23 did is wrong because it's part of keeping Wikipedia safe for everyone but please, permit me to deny having any other account on Wikipedia except this one.

I wholeheartedly understands the reason behind the the block ( it's to prevent abuse of multiple accounts) and protect Wikipedia which is the reason I am still here because I feel safe because of Administrators' actions. But, as a matter of fact, this is my only Wikipedia account. The reason I continue to be and do by best in contributing to Wikipedia is because l am committed to it which other Adminatrators can confirm it. I don't know if I am permitted to mention them here!   Honestly, l don't hold any other account here. I don't know who may be trying to set me up. When l created this my very account about June 2023, some editors starting categorizing me as sockpuppetry of accounts l know nothing about. They said l am a sockmeat which later got resolved then on Administrators Noticeboard. Since then, Everything has been going well until yesterday when Adminatrator @Bbb23 blocked without prior notice. l come clear here. 1st Contributor (talk) 11:04, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

  The truth is that l created a draft similar to what @User:UniBrill created which is "Biafra Republic Government in Exile" I created to start and upgrade my knowledge on editing but when I saw other editors/Adminatrators then calling my attention to being a sock of that account, l indefinitely suspended that and moved on to create and publish another draft called "OGB Recent" to mainspace. I think this is where all these started and it's about 2 months ago. Throughout my stay on Wikipedia, l have not experienced block and this is the first time. Blocking me now is not fair. I have been trying to be careful as well as follow the rules, policies and guidelines on Wikipedia. Thanks 1st Contributor (talk) 18:31, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

  An editor, @HandThatFeeds is already saying l am sock of @Ojadi Emeka but in actual sense, l was the one who filed that report against @Ojadi Emeka. You can see all the evidences there. I filed the second report because of persistent vandalism of that user. So, how then do l turn to be the user which I filed a report against? This is absurd!   Noted. This will be my final post here. You have been blocked by a checkuser who has confirmed your socking. While you can continue to take the higher ground, if you want this account to be ever active, my advise would be to gulp down the hit and come clean with all your other accounts. Do understand, the attempt here is to get you back to editing, not to prove who is right or wrong. If you still don't wish to come clean, I would suggest not to post any defense again as that could result in any administrator revoking your talk page access (you will still have access to use the UTRS system to appeal).   @Lourdes and HandThatFeeds: I blocked 1st Contributor for socking, not a CheckUser, and no CU "confirmed" 1st as a sock. I did consult with two CUs before blocking, meaning that the block was based on behavioral and technical evidence.--Bbb23 (talk) 12:51, 10 August 2023 (UTC)

  @Bbb23 This is my account. Can all the Administrators please, overlook and forgive me. I have used this very my account here to correct many wrong deeds. Please, consider how l have contributed immensely to Wikipedia since the last two months l joined. It demonstrates my dedication to Wikipedia. Please forgive and kindly unblock me. My recent contributions on Wikipedia have proven that l am really sorry for the past; l am sorry to everyone here @Lourdes @HandThatFeeds.

  Please give me this chance. Please. This really broke me down heavily. The saddest part is that my block is indefinite which means like forever. If it has expiry date, l can have wait and serve the punishment till it ends but here, l am stuck forever. Sad!
