editHello, I'm Classicwiki. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to A Star Is Born (2018 film) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

editHello, I'm Gaelan. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Lanyon Homestead because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Gaelan 💬✏️ 07:46, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did at Dave Grohl, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 01:36, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Secondary source added (although query whether a judgment is a primary source in the relevant sense). Given a conviction was recorded, and the matter came before the Court of Appeal, incident not minor or unimportant. 136.153.14.103 (talk) 05:20, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- The Daily Mail is not a reliable source. See WP:DAILYMAIL. A court record is always a primary source. General Ization Talk 05:40, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment. The incident has been reported by a large number of media outlets, including MTV, the Australian and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It is also referred to in the 9th edition of Ross on Crime (the foremost text on Criminal Law in Australia (at paragraph 10.135, page 934)).
- I consider it appropriate that the reference to the Court of Appeal judgment remain. Primary sources may be used to make straightforward, descriptive statements of fact, which is all that is done here. 136.153.14.103 (talk) 06:30, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- An appeal is not automatically important. Did the incident happen? Yes. Has it affected Grohl's life and career? Not significantly. Is it important enough for our readers to see? No. Binksternet (talk) 06:59, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Dave Grohl. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 04:57, 25 July 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Tacyarg. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Marisa Paterson, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 21:09, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
