Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Senegal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wolof. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:55, 2 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Republic of Ironland

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Republic of Ironland requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a club, society, or group that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello

edit

Hello, Nick Moyes, I need your help to get me unbanned from editing because I've been accused of doing something wrong for making the article 'Republic of Ironland' because it doesn't exist, but my source is MicroWiki and now I'm blocked for that. कङञWikiMail 10:04, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Yes, I’m happy to advise. For some reason you chose to delete the message which explains why you were blocked, and how to appeal that block. I will re paste it below for you.
You have been blocked because you are suspected of operating more than one account we call that a sock puppet). Is this true? If it isn’t true, then you can appeal and an investigation will be launched. But if it is true, you must use your ORIGINAL account to appeal an unblock. You may have to wait 6 months to show good behaviour if you have operated multiple accounts in bad faith. Then an appeal might be considered.
If your block is lifted, be aware that you cannot create articles based on unreliable sources such as other wikis. They often contain total nonsense, and we do not accept them as Reliable.
Here’s the original block message you were left:
{{Tmbox
| style = background: #f8eaba
| image =
| text = This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sockpuppet that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sockpuppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below.)}}
Hope this helps. Regards, Nick Moyes (talk) 19:56, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's just as likely, if not more likely, to be a meat farm as a sock farm. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 20:26, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
…and that’s one reason why I don’t accept complete newcomers for adoption. Thanks. Nick Moyes (talk) 21:08, 9 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
