What you say is partly right. Emperor Aurangzeb's eldest son Prince Azam Shah was anointed as the heir apparent (Shahi Ali Jah) to his father on 12 August 1681 ... but ... a war of succession began immediately after Aurangzeb died. Prince Azam Shah, proclaimed himself emperor and marched towards Delhi, where he unsuccessfully fought Bahadur Shah I & was executed in the Battle of Jajau on 8 June 1707 and died after a nominal reign of three months. So it is said Aurangzeb's son, Bahadur Shah I, succeeded him and the Mughal empire. Refer Mughal Emperor which has a topic Mughal Emperor#Later Emperors were Bahadur Shah is shown as Emperor after Aurangzeb.
If you agree then request you to be kind enough to blank the Predecessor & Successor of Prince Azam Shah since he is marked only as a Titular Mughal Emperor & not a Mughal Emperor & also rectify Predecessor & Successor of Emperor Aurangzeb & Bahadur Shah I.
