Greetings.
I'm Thomas E. "TR" Ruddick, associate professor at Edison Community College (Ohio), usually teaching in communication and humanities, also taking on courses in theatre, music, or culture. Ph.D. (communication) Bowling Green State University, 1995; MA (theatre) U. of South Carolina, 1982; BM (music history) and BA (theatre) Northern Ky. University, 1978. Not to mention a year's instruction at United Electronics Institute.
My overly diverse career has included mounting a senior photography exhibit on a Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky bus in 1975, playing in a wide range of rock, folk, and world-music groups (currently Snakes Rising, www.snakesrising.com ), writing as a restaurant critic in the Dayton Voice weekly, and publishing articles in such diverse publications as Dragon magazine and Dictionary of Literary Biography. I've also worked as a school bus driver, an X-ray technician, a telemarketer, a window-dresser, and a farm-supply company stock clerk.
