Howdy!

My name is actually Karl W. Schweickardt, III

I was born on October 31, 1966 in Florida, the son of Karl and Marrion Schweickardt, but I use the tag "TodKarlson" because my nickname is "Tod" and therefore you could say that makes me "Tod, Karl's son". I also own the domain TodKarlson.com

I spent most of my childhood in San Antonio, Texas, but we also lived in Alamogordo, New Mexico and Cazenovia, New York.

U.S. Navy

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1985, and retired in 2006 as a Chief Electronics Technician (Nuclear) after 21 years faithful, zealous and obedient service.

I served on 3 submarines:

• USS San Francisco (SSN-711) 1987-1990
• USS Nevada (SSBN-733) - Blue crew 1994-2000
• USS Alabama (SSBN-731) - Blue crew 2003-2006
